She had to admit, of all places to put a tavern and lodgings, the boundaries of the desert was a damn good one. Not least because it was the only one in the area. Virtually everyone who went into the desert stayed here before venturing out, and returned here before returning to their usual society. For Sekhmet, it was a home from home. One of many. A place where she had met for business, for pleasure, and simply to sleep on occasion. Tonight, she sat outside, the desert wind playing over her flesh, the delightful warmth causing a delicate smile to play upon her lips. She was lost in her own thoughts. Remembering her earlier days.
Desert life was an unusual one. Many considered the prospect of living in a place that had about as much water as Lake Hylia had lava a veritable nightmare. To her, and to the Gerudo as a whole, it was simply part of life. Common sense was the best way out. Make your camps close to oases. Make wells. In the drier, rockier areas, water was simply beneath the earth. It was a matter of unlocking it. Something they had learnt many years ago.
The strangest, and to her, the best part, was the lifestyle they had adopted. Raiders. Warriors seemingly without peer. Rival tribes waged an almost ceaseless war of revenge against one another. Caravans coming through the desert, from the occasional mining expedition were the main source of plunder. But, as she had found out, it wasn't enough for some. Herself included.
She opened her eyes, staring out into the distance, the horizon, colour leeched, reminding her of home, and reminding her of how far she had come. She had no regrets. Her upbringing in the desert had taught her the rudiments of survival. She could subsist as well as any Gerudo. But now, having sold her services as a warrior, she felt she had grown far beyond what her tribe could have offered her.
She looked to the left, just in time to see another moving to sit outside. She smiled, standing up, moving over to her, leaning against one of the few trees that dotted the surrounding area of the tavern. She said nothing, simply admiring the moonlight shining across the dunes, a wry smile on her lips.

Kotone and two other gerudo women was with her as they head to this inn. The only reason why it was still standing as Merik let it be or they would took it over by now. Either way it comes in handy as Kotone was here to drop off a letter that needs to go to a Human Leader. They found an idiot out in the desert with out any water. So they caught him and going to sell him back to the humans. They had went in and gave the letter to the inn owner to give to the mail man when he came by here. Or who ever was heading in to town for them.
Of course it was late by the time they got there so they figure they stay there for the night and leave in the morning. So the two Gerudo females went on to drink or whatever they want. Kotone on the other hand walked outside with her flute in hand. She walked outside as she looked at the dark starry sky as she closed her eyes for a bit. She listen and listen closely to try to hear the noise around her and listen to its music. She reopen her eyes and started to play and playful yet peaceful tone.

A tune was struck up on her left, peaceful, and strangely familiar. Definitely Gerudo of origin. A serene smile played upon Sekhmet's lips, as she listened to the calming melody. She remembered hearing this song after her first raid, remembering how it calmed her raging pulse, cooled her seething blood, and caused the adrenaline to ebb from her. She had, after all, been particularly vicious, even for Gerudo, and even for someone so new to the raid. Bloodlust had threatened to take over on several occasions.
Beautiful song. Not heard it in a while. Seems appropriate tonight.
She continued to smile, looking out over the desert landscape once again, the sounds inside the tavern barely audible, the winds that caressed the dunes, causing a thin film of sand to blow across the ground, like water about her feet, kissing the leather of her boots.
So what brings you out here? I thought I was the only one who's business was more concerned with the Humans and Hylians.

Kotone stop playing as someone came up to her as she looked at her for a moment and was going to ignore her however something was off. She looked at her once more and this women looked Gerudo. It took some times before her brain found what it needed. She remember this lady or rather girl who left the tribes to do her own thing. Yes Kotone knew a lot of things. Anyone that left the tribe she knew anyone that backstabber the tribe she knew. She knew a lot of things. After all she was the adviser to the king and his bodyguard that and she loves history even it was in reports.
She looked at the women a little oddly as she said she had not heard the song before in a sometime. She knew the song she play there was a song made from what she was playing? She was only playing what she heard around her the music in the air that was already there. Many people don't hear it but Kotone was kind on making or hearing music that is around areas or people. She she shook her head at the Hylian part as those people were curel to their tribe. Not letting them be or let them out of this wastelands no they send their troops out to kill them or send people to take or settle their wastelands taking their food and water they need to live off.
Kotone waves her hand a bit and gesture the King was out and she was left in charged once more. She only game to mail or send off a letter nothing more. She knew a fellow Gerudo would know the gestures she was using. Most gerudo would since she been mute since she was little and most people had to learn them. It was a good way to do sneak missions with out using your voice.
