Seayn grunted as his horse jounced again, causing unpleasant pain. He had been riding this horse ridiculously hard, attempting to keep up with rumors of a flying ship, one that supposedly had the king of the Oocca upon it. There were many rumors though. It was commandeered by sky pirates, it was captained by the Lord himself, it was just a convenient way for the kidnappers to keep the Lord out of the reach of those that would keep the leader of the bird-like race. The young knight had nearly ridden his horse to death chasing rumors of the fiery red headed king and the flying ship. Seayn's horse hoof hit a bump that the young man wasn't quite ready for. He was sent tumbling out of the saddle, on to the side of the road, sprawling on the ground.
The young man groaned on the ground for a time, staring up at the sky and wondering how long he was going to be this sore. Seayn grunted as he forced himself to sit upon his behind. He had been quite close to hitting a tree. He shook his head, wondering how he was going to catch that accursed horse, it was surely going to go for some time until it was a safe distance from himself. He didn't quite blame it. He had ridden that thing half to death today, all in the vain hope of finding some Lord. He struggled to his feet, finally finding himself in a standing position.
