Shavir came into Castle Town with a distinct disliking for it. It had been some time since he had returned here; it was by birth his home, but it never felt right to him. The desert, the mountains, those were the places he truly felt at home. Not here in these congested streets, where thieves and pilfers lay waiting to snatch the drunks purse.
Immediately upon entering the town, he began cutting through alleyways to locate his old tavern he went to on long nights. It had been so long though, and the chances were that the same people most likely did not even still work there. If they did they would be...quite different, changed.
Coming to the end of an alleyway, he slumped against a wall and looked around. It would be night soon, the sun had already began to set. He had no money, as he had rid himself of it sometime ago. Why had he really come back? Memories perhaps?

Titania had had her fill of the town for the day. As night set on the busy town, as the sun said its final goodbyes, Titania walked down the road towards her favorite inn.
However, her path was interrupted by a strange man leaning against the wall, on the corner of the street and its alley. Typically this wouldn't be a big deal as people were allowed to relax against the wall if necessary. However, something about him both worried and intrigued her majesty. Was he looking for trouble? Fun? Just a place to kick back before nightfall? These were all possibilities, as men from the desert always had an air of mystery about them. And he was from the desert, his attire gave that away.
As she passed him down the road she quickly turned around and faced him. Desert dwellers always had a chance of being related to the Gerudo in some way, and Titania did have a fondness for them.
She got about arms distance away from him and looked him over. "You're a long way from home aren't you?" Something light to set the mood. She didn't want to pressure him or say anything to make him spiteful, suspicious, or otherwise an ass.

Shavir raised his brow as the woman approached, speaking words that initially set him back a little. He wasn't exactly confused, but why was she approaching him? He couldn't see any defined reason as to why she would come and say that to him, so she must not be a damsel in distress. The only remaining options were Thief, Prostitute, or anyone looking for personal gain; that was, at least, his conclusion.
"Yes...." He paused, gazing around for a moment. "and No. If home is where the heart is, then yes. Otherwise, No." He wondered for a moment why she would think him to be away from home. His clothing was not so much the first thing he thought of like the female here, but his skin. He was very bronze, very tan, and appeared to be a Gerudo. There was only one Gerudo male though, if he recalled.
"So, can I help you?"

Titania had to pause for a moment as the question was asked. He didn't give her a straight answer, but his question was completely fair. Could he help her? Well in a few ways yes, but she rarely pulled men off the streets without a little talking first. Though she wasn't entirely uninterested at this point. Something about the desert was the only conclusion.
"I don't really know actually. Perhaps you could tell me what a man who looks like he frequently braves the harsh winds of the desert is doing in Castle Town as the sun sets." To her, putting it that way did kind of make him sound kind of like a rogue. The desert women did raid frequently. Dammit why did he have to look so rugged. Stupid fairy queen and her love of those who come from the desert. The men in particular were distinctly rare, and therefore a mystique was placed on them. But she wasn't going to declare him just yet, there would be time for that later.

"I don't think you realize what I am." He mumbled softly, shaking his head and sighing. Her words were nothing more than a sigh and a show of confusion, he wasn't even sure if she heard them. Moving on, he continued to answer her question. "I was born here. I've lived in the desert for years, its my home. Still, I'm not sure myself why I'm back here." As he spoke, he saw an old, crippled man limping out of a tavern, his cane in hand.
The man was named Rufus, and he had known him since he was in his twenties. That was the fate of being a Dragon though. When dealing with humans and such, they age muck quicker. Their life spans are incredibly small. "I have nothing left here though. See that man- I knew him when he looked the age of you and I. A good man." Was it a mistake to say something like that to her? Maybe. The dreadnought had twisting knot in his stomach though, telling him that she was okay to reveal his identity to.

Titania watched as the old man walked slowly from the bar. Not a man she recognized, as the elderly of the town were not her strong suit. If what this desert-dweller said was true, then something didn't add up.
"You claim to have known this man for many decades, yet you yourself look no older than a matured adult. If your claim is valid, then it raises some rather obvious questions. Your body has matured too far for you to be considered a Kokiri outcast. Very interesting indeed." A number of options popped into the mind of Titania, though she had not considered the true option. She could not have foretold the appearance of a dragon.

"Interesting? I am not a Kokiri, far from it to be honest." He leaned forth, removing himself from the wall. She was a fine specimen, but he had not partaken in a relationship of any kind, physical or sentimental, for over a great span of time. In fact, he at times forgot how old he really was. He wasn't even sure if he could quite remember the age. He was not yet over one hundred years, but was coming quite close to it. Still, his species of Dragon aged very slowly.
As he leaned forth, the sheathed blade swung around due to his movement. Its ropes had become loose. Reaching down, he grabbed the rope and tightened it. "Why don't you introduce yourself, and then I'll introduce myself. You approached me, after all."

It was a fair question. They had not introduced each other, and Titania was the one who approached. Adjusting her gloves, Titania took a step back and took a bow.
"My name is Titania. It is an honor to meet you, mysterious man of the desert." She stood back straight up, awaiting his answer. This might actually be interesting.
"You ever consider a strap for that? It wouldn't get loose nearly as often. Just a thought, though you don't really have to listen." Her own top subjects rarely did, but that was another topic entirely. For now she had to focus on the situation at hand and worry about home when that bridge was crossed.

Titania....the name was seemingly familiar. Had he heard of her before? Probably not....then again who knew. More than one person in Hyrule had the same name, after all. As she made her comment on his sword, he merely shrugged and ignored the statement. His sword was a trusty weapon, but not his main one. Besides, concerning himself with a strap seemed like all to much of an effort. Keeping it tied seemed to do the job well enough. He was very lazy, after all.
"Titania? Seems familiar." He made his remark to her, figuring if by chance he had a reason to feel as though he knew the name, it would surface quickly. "Shivar, my true name. Some call me by my last- Zieg. Dreadnought of the Empire, and one of few remaining Dragons." He snarled at his own comment. "Introductions always sound arrogant." He watched the old man fade from sight, and an overwhelming feeling of sadness fell on him.

Titania seemed to shrug at Shivar's comments. Introductions were introductions, they were as arrogant as you wanted them to be. However, she had a feeling based on his connections where he'd heard her name before.
"The name sounds familiar because your emperor is worried I'm going to sleep with all of his vassals and systematically steal the throne from him or something like that. Regardless, I wouldn't be surprised if he warns his dreadnoughts about me. He always seems to describe me as some loose hooker who would do anything for a good night. It's offensive really, and you can let him know that." She pouted at her comments, not happy with Nightmare.
"And the worst part is he's very hard to insult. He's a good leader, and commands great respect. I envy him for that. My court only listens to me half the time." It was intriguing to see that this had become an officer's meeting. It definitely made her happy for her to stop and talk to him. Her vibe rarely steered her wrong.

"Hm, perhaps so." He remained quiet after she raved about his leader. Shavir was a very astute follower, loyal to his Emperor above all else. He could not recall any specific moments though where Nightmare had addressed him, but he wouldn't doubt the woman's words. She was going around sleeping with all of the subordinates? He wondered momentarily if that had been her main concern. He could transform into a Dragon, if she was into that kind of stuff.....
He only found the situation humorous at best though. He had no intention of sleeping with the women at all. "So you are....who exactly?" She had yet to identify herself as the fairy Queen.

It turned out that Titania wasn't really into dragons. At all really. At least in that sense.
"I suppose you've earned that much. I lead the fairies in the sacred grove, as monarch. Not the best circumstance but I've learned to deal." She pulled out the emerald necklace and stared at it. The final memento of her mother, a great ruler who died too soon.
"I periodically leave, travel around Hyrule, meet a few friends, relax from being queen. You've happened to catch me at a good time. I don't know how well dragons hold their liquor, but I was going to go for a drink. Care to join me?" She gave him a pat on the shoulder and moved out towards her favorite spot. She turned and motioned for him to follow.

Going to get a drink with the Queen of Faries? He wouldn't pass up the opportunity. Walking along with her, he continued the conversation. "Dragons hold their liquor better than any fairy, that's no question." He laughed heartily, a small burst of dark smoke puffing from his mouth. He already had the hiccups....he hated them, especially in public. During his younger days he acquired a pipe to disguise himself from releasing smoke.
"If you plan on leaving Town Tomorrow, I can always give you a lift. A days journey for you humanoids is but an hour for me." He noted to the fairy, an offer of their newly found friendship.

Titania noticed the hiccup and laughed. She wasn't sure how much of a dragon's true form carried over in human form, and it was amusing to see what appeared to be a man exhale smoke like that.
"Well if the average fairy holds as much as me, the average fairy isn't winning any drinking contests. Since we're typically smaller than the average human, we don't hold liquor well. Which is a shame, given that fairies make the most amazing wine. As for your offer, I would love a ride back to the grove, but if someone gets a glimpse of a dragon anywhere near Faron I'd never hear the end of it. Besides, I'm no dragon, but we get a good set of wings. Besides, I like to cherish the flight back to and from Faron. I've met quite a few interesting people that way." The offer was appreciated though. For most, it would be an easy sell, but Titania was not most.
Reaching the inn she loved dearly and the tavern next door, she walked in, nodding to the bartender for two drinks. Hugh was in today, which was nice, but Nicky was nicer to look at. She took a seat at the bar and rested her arm on the table, awaiting her drink.

He nodded, understanding her reasoning. It was true; a dragon near the woods would cause some to become upset, no doubt. On top of that, she did have wings. Her flight may not have been as quite advanced as his, he wasn't completely sure. Fairies weren't his expertise; he knew Oocca could fly long distances quickly, like him, they simply could not carry the amount of weight that he could.
"Hm..."
He followed her into the bar, sitting next to her and avoiding eye contact with mostly everyone in the bar. It wasn't that he held low self esteem, he had simply been alive long enough to realize two things. Firstly, that he hated pointless confrontations in towns, such as fights that he could easily win. Secondly, avoiding eye contact meant less a chance of communication, and confrontation. He could be wrong, that was simply his take on it.
Placing both of his arms on the table, he leaned forth onto his elbows and looked over to the fairy. "So, Titania, you come around Castle Town alot?" He couldn't help but wonder her age. She seemed very young, around the age he appeared to be in human form.
