It was silent at least...no annoyances, no distractions, and...Nobody around. There was a cold front that relaxed itself around the area, which would ultimately cause great discomfort to nearly anybody around. The unfortunate soul known as Akira lay against an almost demolished stone pillar.
The depressing night devoid of a moon was one of the few comforts to Akira; the darkness was a sign of protection and of belonging; the dark blanket of protection emanating peace and soothing delights. The deathly cold air gave rewarded discomfort, which in turn gave protection due to no one wanting to freeze. The perfect night for a forlorn assassin to relax. True he despised it with all of his being, however the discomfort would pay off in the long run for the lonely assassin, gifting him with much needed rest.
Peace always requires a certain price. A disastrous income that delivers pain and suffering. For instance, when war is waged for peace it causes more lives to be sacrificed and set up for failure. It was best to take out those who attempt to claw their way up to power and try to abuse the power they receive unto themselves. It was pathetic how most people thought: That everyone they come in contact with means good to them or that just because someone is dressed in fancy leggings they deserve the title of leader. This was the opposite of how he thought. He believed that unjust powers should be cut from the branch of law and order. Just because a person is in power doesn't mean that they are alive to give support to those under them.
So there he sat alone in the comforting darkness, wating for something to happen....

[atrb=valign, top][style=border-left:4px solid #000000; font-size:10px; line-height:13px; padding-left:8px; text-align:justify; padding-right:8px;]The night had always been Virion's favorite time of the day, ever since the day he was born. It gave him the freedom to do anything he wanted without any trouble and also without the threat of idiots trying to decapitate him with their blades or something due to the fact that he was a monster, or rather, as the current Emperor called them, an Ainur. Nevertheless, he always kept Ceris at the ready, because who knew what lurked in the shadows of the night.
It was a moonless night tonight. The demon's green eyes glowed eerily as he wandered through the fields of Hyrule. He had no exact idea what he was doing here, it just seemed like a fine place to visit at this hour. Though he had been wandering around for along time, Virion was still able to appreciate the beauty of the Lanayru province. There was a certain charm to it that he took a fancy to, blame it all on the Hylians that ruled the area.
As his green orbs flickered around and surveyed the area, his eyes fell on an ancient stone pillar, upon where a dark silhouette laid against it. Wary at the thought of someone else other him in the area at this hour, his fingers wrapped themselves around the hilt of Ceris and he advanced forward cautiously towards the figure. If the person was hostile, well, boo, and he would be forced to react in self-defense. If he wasn't, well, bingo on finding someone who wouldn't attack him just on sight. Virion stopped a feet away from the figure and silently stared at the male, his face alert and wary, willing the other to make the first move.

Shadows. A word of darkness and natural beauty. In ancient times shadows were viewed as evil copies of ones self sealed into the ground by the goddesses. Of course that's the opposite of how Akira views them. They provided necessary cover for escape. Oh how he despised his 'Job', killing those who don't deserve the power given to them and then getting himself rejected by all. It was a horrible job. But if he didn't do no one else would. The cold air swiped by running chills throughout Akira's body. It seems that whenever he cuts off a snakes head, two more grow back in its place. How many...how many times must the same pattern continue before it makes an impact for the sake of peace?
The silence managed to hurt his ears slightly, it seemed that even the singing crickets were hiding away that night. Nothing was making a sound...except for the patter of approaching footsteps. His eyes ventured up. Who else would be about this late? He was slightly perplexed, for he was used to spending these type of nights in alone.
He could barely make out the figure, but from what he could tell he had pale white skin. He eyed the man grip his sword defensively. He judged by the position that Virion was standing in that he was suspecting an attack on Akira's part. But Akira would never do anything of the sort. He would never attack anyone without cause. He gazed at the man for a second or two, but no more. He turned his head away from the man and resumed staring blankly into space.

[atrb=valign, top][style=border-left:4px solid #000000; font-size:10px; line-height:13px; padding-left:8px; text-align:justify; padding-right:8px;]Upon receiving nothing but a blank stare from the person, Virion blinked and he felt the initially tense muscles on his shoulders begin to relax. He released his grip on the hilt of his blade and let his arms hang to his sides. Apparently, the man in front of him wasn't interested in starting a fight tonight as well. Though Virion wouldn't say no to the occasional sparring; everyone needed the bit of adrenaline rush after all at times, he had an odd feeling that it would be a long, tiring battle for him if he started something with this man.
The demon stepped forward until he was only a few inches away from the man. Looking curiously down at the human, he bent down in front of the other male and tilted his head to one side, emerald eyes gleaming. An interesting one, this one. It was as though someone decided to throw him off a mountain, and he came back stronger than ever. From the looks of it, he was able to tell that this human was tired, and as a chilly wind swept through the fields, probably cold as well.
"It's a chilly night." the demon commented wryly after a moment. "Are you not cold, human? You shouldn't be here, least of all at this hour."

His ears caught the pattering of the mans approaching feet. His face remained calm and collected as the pace of the strange figure slowed to a sudden stop inches in front of him. He couldn't help but wonder why Virion deemed him worthy of his time. All was quiet for a few seconds. The heavy darkness of the shadow he was lying in made him nearly invisible and it merely appeared that Virion was talking speaking with an imaginary being.
'Its a chilly night', the strange figure stated to the forlorn assassin.'Are you not cold human? You shouldn't be here, least of all this hour.' Akira's ears perked at, 'human', deducting that the pale man was most likely a monster. Akira paused for a few seconds thing up a logical answer, for he did not enjoy talking about himself. He spoke up in a clear voice, devoid of any slang or heavy accents,"The question goes both ways... and the cold provides necessary 'protection'." Akira was naturally very secretive person, he was very slow to trust and often frustrated people to the point of them leaving. He would be what you would call a 'Closed Book' that hardly any key could open

To be honest, Virion was surprised at himself for even deciding to become concerned for the welfare of this human. His eyes, now glowing even brighter in the dark as the night continued, never left the human's face, surveying him curiously like how one might survey a lab rat, except that the demon had no plans of dissecting him. The monster was not the type of being to go around killing randomly for the pleasure of it, unlike his race's sadistic personalities and ways, where it was survival among the fittest. Though he was also unable to say that he had not killed before, but it had all been for the sake of living and self-defense.
The demon hummed in reply at the words of the assassin, rolling them around his head analytically. Such puzzling words, he mused."I do not see how the cold is able to provide protection."
he replied neutrally. "Would you care to elaborate?" "Allow me to sit and enjoy the chilly night with you, now that I'm here, unless you're up for a little bit of sparring in this weather." Virion added, sitting down as well. "You may call me Virion." [/blockquote][/blockquote]
