"Mav, do me a favor and explain to me what the hell you're talking about? I usually consider myself fairly well-versed in your eccentricities, but even this time you've thrown me for a loop." Ryan was legitimately confused as to what Maverick was talking about. What had they "won" exactly? The ability to not die? If so, then he was spot-on, but that was about it as far as Ryan was concerned. This whole thing had been a disaster from the start. However, Ryan did know that this wasn't the end of it, he would track down the monster and take him on once he was prepared for the worst.
"Thank you, Titania." It was always good to have a healer near by, he himself kept a few fairies on retainer just in case he should ever fall to his injuries. He always found it funny that a race of healers could be so commonplace, it was one of the reason why he tended to opt for killing the enemy rather than simply arresting them. It was always easier to simply slay a criminal then revive them than it was to hold back and risk injury to himself trying to subdue them.

Clow sighed and lay back, still glaring down the knight as he seemed to prepare his departure. He wouldn’t pay him little mind soon, much more thinking about the creature slinking away without a word would drive him mad. As the adrenalin of the whole event wore down and he actually took the time to relax, a few tears streamed down his face. He had dealt with more combat then you most kokiri and he could not seem to hold back the tears. But this was the most he’s been injured by far. still despite all this, he still cracked a smile.
“Don’t worry please, don’t worry yourself, I’ll fine enough… As soon as I can walk, I’ll be able to take care of myself. There are enough ingredients in the woods nearby, with a little bit of time, I’ll have plenty of potions. That sounds miles better than going home with my tail between my legs.” The Kokiri weakly rubbed his eyes, despising the idea of going home, or anywhere near the groove, he had spent over half a century in that place, he wouldn’t need to see it again for quite some time.
Of course the wolfs flick to the forehead was… odd… it honestly left him dumb founded, he sat, there, laying back, eye still damp, body still aching. He managed to chirp out “What the hell was that?” As he stared up at the sky and reflected. Even with further healing, from himself or the fairy, he would be sore for a while. But even as he cringed, and dampened his face with tears, he was almost proud of himself. He wasn’t happy his rage got the better of him, but he had not only found something beyond explanation, but fought it, and even if it was by the creature’s desire, or by the efforts of himself or the others, he was alive all the same, and he would certainly never forget tonight as long as he lived.

Even Dark Link had to admit, he was confused as to how the man could possibly declare himself the victor. None of them had inflicted any damage, and the one that was claiming victory had himself disabled two of his teammates, the only ones that could actually fight. If he was actually fighting for Dark Link the entire time, then yes, this was a victory. Other than that, what the hell.
Oh good. It seemed that they were just going to let him go after all. It seemed that they had their fill of the Black Knight and had no intention of aggravating things any further than they already had. To him, this was a truly wonderful thing, and it was something that he would not pass up on. He had made his entrance, he had caused a ruckus, and he knew for a fact that the Hero would likely be hearing this later on. Yeah, if everything went well, the newest incarnation of the hero would likely be out and about fairly shortly.
With no more reason to stay, and content in his victory, the Black Knight turned on his heel, and left.

Titania was too busy healing to notice the Dark Knight's exit. As Clow became stabilized her attention turned to Ryan.
"Sit tight, I'll be there for you soon." Favored nurse of the group was a position that made her feel good. She would be here for the time being, until such a time where the group would be able to function and stand on their own.
"Ryan we're going to have to discuss this further down the road. Once she was finished she was off to the skies, back to the palace and the court to discuss the day's events.

"Seriously, you get all pissy when I go running out there, but fail to realize the simpleness of my goal?" he shook his wolfen head, changing back to his human form now, with crossed arms. "My goal was to get the little guy away from the knight, no more and no less. Therefore, I won," it didn't matter to specifics for him, but he had accomplished his goal, and that was enough for him.
"Anywho, now that the crazy shit's over I'm gonna head out, catch you later, and try not to give yourself any aneurysms," he laughed, waving behind him to Ryan and the little Kokiri as he headed from the ranch. He had forgotten what he came out this way for as well. Man, why did that always seem to happen to him, that just made things so much more tedious.

Well, that was the end of that then. With a new face (or helmet, to be accurate) on his list of people to keep an eye out for and a potential threat to Hyrule looming on the horizon, Ryan felt he deserved a nice long rest after this. Sadly he knew he wouldn't be getting one, there would be paper work to fill out and all the other trappings of bureaucracy that the Champion of Humanity had to deal with. For now he would have to be happy that the current danger was over with.
He would very much like to know who that mask knight was, and how to kill him. It seemed that some research was warranted in the upcoming days. Anything that spoke of a black-armored Knight would be useful, although considering how many idiots people thought that darkness was "cool" these days, it was likely to be anyone. This did not bode well for Ryan's potential future engagements. Whatever, he would deal with it when the time came.

Well it seemed his battling companions were all leaving… All of them seeming to have some plans to keep after this major event. He gave the fairy a light nod, and watched her fly off with a flutter and a sparkle. He always had a liking for fairies, it was a bond that had drifted with the passage of time, but Clow still remembered it, and it made him smile, giving him a moment to feel warm and safe. As for the wolf, he couldn’t help but shoot him a fangy grin, the man seemed to have a good head on his shoulders, and Clow was still quite grateful. In Farwell, Clow let out a somewhat weak, but still pretty realistic howl, something he had picked up, spending quite.
Getting to his feet slowly, he let out a deep breath and turned to the leaving Ryan. He wasn’t really sure what to say to the champoin, he hadn’t really made much of an impression on Clow, and somehow Clow doubted he himself made much of an impression on Ryan. All the same they had still fought together, so he gave a simple wave and uttered “Later Mortal.” With a smirk he slowly, but not very steadily, walked off, disappearing into the forest. He would head back to his camp and nurse his wounds before heading out to wander again. Still, at least it had been an entertaining night.
