Ziva is a Kokiri that perhaps sets her way apart others. Completely unable to work in a normal social environment, due to her extreme needs as a Kokiri and diet plan, the little flesh eater prefers to be by herself, lost in thought. She does have the ability to talk to people, of course, but she isn't the most refined of talkers : and quite often, she doesn't bother with something if it wastes too much energy, unless she really wants it. There are few things that can motivate this young girl's heart, and she acts much like a jaded Kokiri of at least seventy years or more, depending on how old that one gets. She is a bundle of surprises though, when she wants to be.
APPEARANCE,Ziva being cute
Ziva is a pretty typical Kokiri : reaching around 4'2 in height, she looks like a little kid more then anything else. With giant green eyes, not unnatural, but almost there, that seem to see the world in such a strange light, glow the color of the forest. Her very prescence is like life : and yet it just feels off and wrong at the same time. She has slightly pale skin, and seems sickly in nature but yet there's a strength that shows in every movement, should she make one. Almost unnaturally still, it seems that Ziva's long, matted strands of leafy green meld as vines and leaves, as evident by the twigs that sticks up and out of them.
Her form is small and lithe, and yet clean : she does seem to take care of her body's cleanliness, or maybe that's just natural by itself. Her hands and feet, although small and fitting to her body, seem a bit longer appendage wise, perhaps to offer her more flexibility. Her clothing seems to be kept to a single dress and a pouch under that, an almost feral and wild look to her sometimes, as her teeth are obviously sharper then most creatures, and definitely off on a herbivoir Kokiri. But she doesn't seem to mind, and is often caught smiling.
WEAPONS,There's a stash of traveler's weapons at the base of her tree : including normal, classic weapons like swords, knives, bows and spears. None of them are magical.
ITEMS,Said traveler's stash has a bunch of items, including basic gauze, bandages and canned food.
ABILITIES,Corruption Core Ziva is a dangerous being : living closely to the marsh has imbribed some of it's evil into the Kokiri. This allows the Kokiri to corrupt things : corruption is a difficult word of course, but that is the essence of her ability. Currently, she doesn't have much control over this ability. All turns are based on the infected's post.
Level 1 - Physical Corruption : this is the bread and butter of Ziva's natural ability. Any touch by Ziva to the person's physical structure, discounting ethereal or transparency, this ability commences. However, it is best used as a long term detrimental ability, considering the sheer length of time it takes to begin the process. However, all it takes is a single touch : as long as it is Ziva's body herself, or produced by her magic, it will be sufficient. There, based on time elapsed, the effects of the corruption will spread : the physical corruption simply breaks down the body in a way. It takes the general compound within the object, and reverses them drastically. In living organisms, this takes much longer due to the fact that they have progression within their cells : as the corruption hops from one cell to the next, producing new ones throws it off balance. This is more or less, the premise.
-- Magical Objects are immune to most of the effects : it will only make them heavier, and harder to use. --
-- The post count is the basic count of the ability : Leaders get +2 post stack, Lieutenants +1 post. Those with abilities that increase their endurance will gain +1 post per level. [example: human racial] to clarify : A Leader will not begin stage one until 2 posts after first infection. Also, the turn of the post is the user's turn! That means that Stage 4 only happens on post #10 from Ziva. --
-- Corruption is not a poison! It's in technicality a mutation of magic that acts much like a disease. Otherwise, it can be healed once inflicted. The corruption WILL fade away NATURALLY unless something else has been worked out! By the next thread, the corruption will have faded. Healing spells can put back the counter [minor spells are -2 to the counter, and major healing spells are -4 to the counter. Any healing ability at lvl 4 will cure the corruption, since the healing power will over turn the corruption.] Also, eating a deku nut or five deku seeds will set the corruption back to stage 1, on the first post. --
Stages
Stage 1 Turns 1-3 -- There is no perceivable effects to the afflicted target. They are HIGHLY infectious at this stage, much like a disease : this allows them to transfer the corruption to things they are touching ONLY.
Stage 2 Turns 4-6 -- Slowness is observed in limbs, and a dry mouth is afflicted. The infected target seems to have slowed reaction time and are slight impaired. Inflicted objects become heavier, and seem to turn a bit brown/gray.
Stage 3 Turns 6-9 -- Increased slowness : to the point where their physical abilities are twice lowered from their natural level. Body feels weak, and starts to shake, strength seems to wane. There is also the taste of bile in the mouth, and the stomach rumbles as if upset. Objects seem to start shrinking at this point.
Stage 4 Turns 10-12 -- Final battle stage of the Physical corruption. Slowness is completely, finishing at a full one fourth of the user's natural physical abilities : their bodies begin to react violently. Symptoms are left to the user to decide, but they can vary anywhere from diarrhea, intense fever, unconsciousness, etc. As long as it is severe and alarming. This status remains for the rest of the battle, unless methods above are used.
Stage 5 PLOT ONLY -- This is a plot only part of the ability. Since the physical corruption turns to an extreme, the infected may die from it : or they may become corrupted themselves, mutating ONE of their abilities beyond their normal form. Requires permission from the RPer, and is used for PLOT ONLY.
Vapor Field Ziva, having lived in the forest, next to the marshes, understands the relative system behind mist and bog. This developped into a magical ability that few can compare : by letting herself breathe in large amounts of air, the Kokiri can release this in the form of mist, vapor, bog : whatever one wants to call it. It's a thick substance that lies on the air, differing in functions as each mist is unique.
Level 1 - The Status Mists This is a pretty simple procedure. Due to the lack of refined control over her ability, Ziva can produce a 7x7 feet area of mist. This mist has several functions, depending on which affliction Ziva wants to put on : as long as anything is in that mist, they are effected by this effect. These are : Shock[Blue], Blindness[Black], Poison[Purple], Slow[Green], Fatigue[White], Pain[Red] and Confusion[Yellow]. As long as the target is in the mist area, these afflictions will not leave them, unless they can shake it off [available after 3 posts, 2 for Lieutenants, 1 for leaders]. This mist follows Ziva, almost like a surrounding cloud. No two mists will be created at the same time, since the new mist replaces the old one. This will effect allies that enter the field as well. This ability has a 5 post cool down, which starts immediately after the cloud fades, which is 4 post of duration.
Affliction Table
Shock - Renders Movement sporadic, hard to control.
Blindness - Binds the sight with darkness, preventing the target to see.
Poison - Causes minor damage to the target, usually non-fatal unless exposed for a far too long period of time.
Slow - Renders the target much slower and sluggish, preventing them from properly executing their actions on split hair timing.
Fatigue - Renders the target tired : decreases their energy and makes them sleepy.
Pain - Causes flashes of pain on the target, distracting them from their task at hand.
Confusion - Places the target in a befuddled state, making it harder for them to understand, analyze or comprehend the situation.
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Vines - The Kokiri are able to summon vines around their opponent. If they successfully get a grip on the opponent, the opponent will be unable to run while thorns dig into their bodies. Even if healed, the thorns will simply reopen the wounds as long as it has the target ensnared. This ability has a cooldown of 4 turns.
Level 0 - The kokiri cannot summon any vines.
Level 1 - The vines, if successful, lasts for 1 turn.
Level 2 - The vines, if successful, lasts for 2 turns.
Level 3 - The vines, if successful, lasts for 3 turns.
Level 4 - The vines, if successful, lasts for 4 turns.
HISTORY,
It isn't often that a child of the forest gets lost in such a way that no one finds them. For the woods are full of things that are able to find such lost children. But children hidden by such things that made it impossible for others to find them, well. A sad tale unfolds, as the apperance of a small green haired baby, curled up against a gnarled, poisoned tree.
The tree was everything : soon the child was just as twisted as the tree, a manic grin on that small face. The tree was her life : her life was the tree's legacy. Nobody approched the diseased clearing, knowning there was a blood thirsty hunter in there : the rumors of the child's killings reached many ears. But fear was powerful : the one survivor claimed it was a small Kokiri girl. And the fear of corruption stopped many from going into that meadow.
And even now, as the child is all there by itself, green eyes staring at the world, corruption spreads in the ground : for the marshes were right behind that meadow, the last gate of a forest before the dangers of the lurking, muddy depths. But a child was always a child : even as innocent eyes stared at a strange world, the child was one and alone.
