Panoramic view. Look, I'll make it all manageable. Oh... well, then. This makes obsolutely perfect, logical sense. For a moment Alarice thought that Valdis wouldn't be emerging from the cold waters she fell into... but she did, and with the axe too. Being jealous would have to wait, Alarice chose to let arrogance hold her back from admiring and commending Valdis on being wonderful. She probably won't be able to do that, ever. But she could do lots of other things, too ( -- more or less). So what if (it looked like) she was just showing off, the ability to (sort of) negate death is awesome.
"Well... let's go, then." Having that seal wasn't very appetizing (currently). Perhaps that could just be for Valdis, Alarice could go this night without eating if there actually was no food for her. If Valdis now lead the way, then she would follow behind. Maybe if she did anything that would have to make someone stop following them, then Alarice would stop following her -- but Valdis's impression wasn't enough to make her run away -- that would be cowardice!
Her axe returned to it's original position, over her shoulder along with her hammer, too. The wetness/iciness of the axe didn't bother her, as it wasn't actually harming any skin, nor even touching any for that matter.

It seemed that she was definitely satisfied. Although Valdis couldn't have resisted the opportunity to show off : at least, that's what the world seemed to push her towards. In usual manner, the ReDead would not be so.. forward about her actual condition. The woman just smiled, and continued her trail, as the other simply followed her. There wasn't any sort of conversation : Valdis kept it to a minimum. The woman seemed focused, as finally, after a good fifteen minute walk, a small cabin seemed to be peak from a snow bank. The woman went straight for it, opening the door with her foot. After all, flexible toes were quite unique and very, very useful, as she entered the large house, putting all of her catches in the side of the kitchen. The cabin was small to say the least, but it felt strangely homely.
There was the door way, which had one step, and then it opened into the rest of the cabin. Stairs in the corner went up to the second floor : the first floor was mainly the kitchen, with an island to go to a room with a table, and a closet with a bathroom across from it. Valdis seemed to be happy, as she came back, closing the door : and putting in several locks and bolts, which seemed excessive, the undead put them slowly : so that Alarice, if observing, could see how they were locked. ''Humanoid monsters like to stroll in here sometimes.'' she said, giving a light smile, before heading to the kitchen. ''You can take off your shoes and what not : make yourself comfortable. Oh, maybe you should start the fire.'' she said, referring to the fire place that took a portion of the wall in the area with a table, considered the living room.
''I assume you like your food cooked, so it might be a little bit. Anything else you need?'' said the woman, as she seemed to gracefully move around the house, as if she was used to having a guest. However, there was a smile on the undead's face, as she seemed to be humming very softly, her crystalized blonde hair starting to melt just lightly as she moved. Very homely : for an undead to say the least.

The fifteen minutes they walked without much dialogue seemed to drag on just a little. Alarice wasn't too surprised by the cabin, Valdis opening the door with her foot was easily classified as showing off, perhaps trying a little too hard as well. The cabin was, of course, not so big. Even so, it felt more relaxing than a bigger version. She watched her put in all the locks and what not. If Alarice really had to get out of there she figured smashing her way through would be less time consuming and easier.
Being here with Valdis felt strange, she was a lot better of a host than she had expected of her. Alarice took off her coat, and her pants to reveal her regular clothing underneath -- of course, she set her weapons down with the clothing as well. Her gloves and boots stayed on, though, as they were a part of the normal attire as well. It was a little more revealing, but not by a lot; it was just her legs and arms. She took off her ear muffs and put them with the big pile of her belongings by the door. Not very formal. At all.
The cabin was a little warmer than outside, of course, but it wasn't very comfortable with it's temperature. Alarice leaned against the wall by the door, it could have been possible to miss her change of outfit, from heavy cloth to the usual. What she took off probably supplied more support than what she had on underneath (excluding her chain mail gloves). She folded her arms across her chest, it seems she wouldn't be starting the fire.
She didn't say anything, just had a content look on her face. Not happy nor sad, but with a hint of angst. Her silence, to Alarice, meant she didn't need anything. Valdis being in this kind of mood wasn't contagious to Alarice, as it seems. Even if now was a time to turn to a friendlier side, her strange and outlandish amiability put Alarice in an amount of coldness -- not because of the cool temperature in the cabin, though.
