"Let me go or I'll bite your hand."
"No." The reply was swift and instantaneous, with the kokiri boy struggling to maintain a grip on the squirming mouselike, yellow creature in his arms. "I know what you're up to." he said, squishing Nion even harder. "You're up to no good again." And sure enough, Nion's zigzag shaped tail was vibrating, a clear sign that the mouse was indeed up to mischief, and will do so the moment Faust so much as shifted. The boy couldn't blame his companion for being impish, it was quiet and peaceful in the village, and Nion had never a been a big fan of tranquility. He on the other hand, was alright with the peace, but as for the latter... Nion looked up at him, blinking innocently before his body began to vibrate and Faust jumped in shock at the electrical charge that now emitted from the mouse's body. He began to shake uncontrollably and could hear his own body hum from the electric as he was zapped. His grip on Nion loosening, he fell backwards as the yellow mouse leaped out from his arms with a triumphant cry and began to scamper down the streets. He let out a grunt as he landed on his back painfully, and groaned out loud. While Faust struggled and shakily got to his feet, Nion had leaped on to the first person he saw and dug his little paws into the person's pockets, pulling out whatever that was in there before leaping off and hurrying back towards the kokiri, grinning from ear to ear. "Look what I got~" he sang cheerfully. Panicking and acting on impulse, Faust snatched up the yellow ball of fur and quickly began to scamper off the way they had came, not once sparing the thought of returning the object Nion had stolen, ugly memories of him getting beaten up when he did flashing in his head. Oh, what an eventful morning~ [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Here I come, rougher than the rest of 'em The best of 'em, tougher than leather Somebody's got a death wish. Ordona Village. Alarice didn't care much about the village, it was her first time here; the more you know, I guess? Just to see it... Well, that wasn't the only reason. There are some things you really have to look for, she came with a large sum of rupees to use because this was an item she really, really wanted. She had caught word that it was sold here regularly, and so she had traveled all the way to Ordona to get it, she brought along her giant axe, carried over her shoulder.
She had got into an interesting conversation with a resident at Ordona about weapons, which she was happy to discuss. He brought up lots of different weapons with her that they had debates and analysis's with. It seems to be that carrying a giant two-handed double-ended axe can be a good character defining trait, or perhaps it wasn't. The man noticed a strange being scurry over to Alarice and dig into her inventory, but he didn't say anything until it was too late.
The creature took Alarice's coin purse of rupees, she spun around and witnessed the creature being taken away by a rather short person. That boy had the eyes of a Sheikah, no doubt. Even though he was a Kokiri, Alarice believed that he was just a thief, coming here to steal. She gripped onto her axe with both hands, it lagged behind her as she proceeded to pursue him. Her feet slapped against the ground, she charged like an angry bull, ready to cleave and pummel as soon as she caught up to him.
"LITTLE TWAT! GIVE THAT BACK!"
She was mad, and her tone showed it. It showed anger and she practically roared her words, despite having a hint of feminine to it. The man she was talking with simply turned the other way, he probably thought of him as a thief, just like Alarice, but he probably didn't agree on her obliterating anybody.
Her feet kept making stomps, adrenaline pulsing.

Rukon had no Idea what he was doing here, though this was normally the case whenever he ended up in an unfamiliar place. They why and where didn't really matter that much to him really, he was in a new place, this just meant more he could learn and take home to teach the members of his tribe.
"Damn.....I'm so hungry..." Rukon hadn't eaten any rock in while, and while it wasn't the only thing the goron ate, it seemed that the longer he went without it, the more ravenous his hunger grew. Just last night, Rukon had eaten almost a quarter of his body weight, and the Goron weighed a whopping 500 pounds!
Food was all that the goron could think about, and he knew he needed to stop thinking about it before he took a bite out of the side of someone's house. He new that he need to stop think about food, but he had no idea what he could do take his mind off of it. Then, as if in response to his thoughts. He saw a rather short sheikah scurrying in his direction. This kid was in a hurry, and Rukon wouldn't be left wondering why, as shortly after, he heard the words, "LITTLE TWAT! GIVE THAT BACK!"
This kid was a thief, or so it seemed, and the girl who had been yelling didn't seem to happy. When Rukon saw the axe that the girl was dragging behind, he knew she wasn't all sugar and rainbows. He was torn between just letting the kid pass by, or stopping him, though the end, stopping him seemed like the right thing to do.
With this on his mind, Rukon took on long sidestep to his right and put himself directly in the path of the kid. He knew that the kid wasn't going to kncok him over, and with Rukon size, going over, or around him would take some fancy moves indeed. Most people would have stopped at the site of Rukon, with his size he was a rather intimidating fellow in the first place, but then came the growl. First it started out as a low rumbling sound, until it gained enough volume that it would scare even a pack of stalhounds away.
Rukon definitely hadn't intended for that to happen, and half inspected the kid he assumed was a sheikah to run back to the girl with the axe.
Yeah... he was hungry.

Why must he always end up in trouble?
He caught the unwanted bag of coins from Nion's paws after the mouse squirmed out of his grip and climbed up to his shoulder, where he usually perched and sat all day. Staring at it with barely concealed horror as he ran on, he hardly heard the golden creature on his shoulder squeak with indignation at the sight that now beheld him. While the kokiri raced on, hell-bent on getting out of the village, Nion was holding on for dear life, digging his tiny claws into the boy's shoulder and staring incredulously at the angry female brunette that was now hot on their heels. Well of course, she shouldn't be happy, shit, even he as a mouse knew that he would be pissed if someone stole something from him. Nion was able to relate to the girl and sure, he could- bloody hell, was that an axe?
'Run faster!"
he screeched. "She's got an axe! Faust decided then to spare a glance over his shoulder, and his mouth dropped open at the sight of the outraged girl with the axe. What the f- He nearly swore out loud then, and proceeded to run even faster than usual, his long, long years of running around the Sacred Grove kicking in, and at the same time, resisted to roar over his shoulder at the girl's use of language when she yelled. Faust wondered whether he should just throw the bag of coins in his hands now over his shoulder, maybe that would stop the girl from chasing him and give him a chance to escape- ...when a freaking huge man appeared out of nowhere and proceeded to block his path from the exit. "What the crud?" he exclaimed out loud in despair while Nion began yelling at the female behind them in bemusement. "Dude, come on, it was just a bit of fun!' Not finding it within the heart to tell the mouse to shut up, Faust's head was occupied with the Goron in front of him. His first impulse was to turn tail and flee from the intimidating male, but with a girl carrying an axe on his heels, he didn't think so. The kokiri leaped forward then, and clearly looked as though he was about to crash and bounce off the Goron when he grabbed the bronze colored man's shoulder and kicked out at it, so that he was now flying backwards, propelling towards the girl's path, now speeding towards her, torpedo style. While he had kicked out at Rukon, Nion had proceeded to leap as well, managing to land himself on top of the huge Goron's white head, shaking. "You mind if I sit here for a bit?" Summary: Used Rukon's shoulder to launch himself backwards towards Alarice, bullet style, Nion jumping and now sitting on Rukon's head, not in combat. first timer in battle rpg here kthnx. Here I come, rougher than the rest of 'em The best of 'em, tougher than leather She failed to cease, so the only thing she could possibly do if he reversed and went towards her was fight back. She expected it to be over for him when the Goron blocked his path, righteous justice is what she expected to become of his assistance, but she didn't expect him to try and use him as wall to bounce off of. She didn't think about trying to dodge, she didn't think about trying to swing her axe, he was going too fast for her to plan a well strike. Alarice let the axe go from her hands and lay with the ground. She still kept rushing ahead, leaving her axe a few yards behind.
Alarice leaped off the ground, her body turning to a horizontal position in the air. She had launched herself towards him in the same style he did, only obviously slower because she didn't have anything to push off with. At first her legs were folded against her chest, but she kicked out with them, heavy force, to add more punch. The strengths were seriously off on this, and if he actually manages to barely miss her legs, they'd probably smack into each other and fall to the ground. However, Alarice wasn't exactly sure how far he would have rebounded from her two feet driving into his head or chest.

[/img] The situation hadn't gotten any better, in fact things had just gotten a lot more confusing for the goron. He had no idea what had been going on in the first place, and somehow now there was a giant yellow rat sitting on his head. While any normal person would have probably freaked out about this, Rukon was a goron elder, and as such he was a little bit wiser than that...Instead, looking up at the rodent he smiled. He reached a hand up and began to pet the rodent on the head.
"I don't mind, as long as you don't mind telling me what's happening here little buddy..."
The girl had dropped her axe, and Rukon couldn't see any weapons on the kid, so he figure that letting htme duke it out hand to hand wasn't that bad, if things got out of hand, Rukon would end it, and if the kid tried to flee again, he wasn't going to outrun a five hundred pound ball of hulking goron, moving at thirty five miles per hour.
That wasn't important right now though, what was important as the even unfolding in front of his eyes. The two opponents were both parallel to the ground and about five feet into the air, a feat that required an exceptionally high level of athleticism. Given, they were both pretty small compared to him, but it was still quite sight to behold. Just seeing a fight start out like this, you knew it would be a good one....if both fighters continued to go all out anyways...and Rukon had the feeling that boy wasn't going to stick it out... It didn't matter though, he'd been wrong before, and now it was just time to watch.
Truthfully, Rukon hadn't seen a good fight in a while, this was half of the reason he was so eager to watch... suddenly though, he wasn't sure if he was supposed to be proud of the fact that his growling stomach could scare someone into fighting whatever was in the path of getting away from him... Wait...his stomach? Why had it growled in the first place? It then occured to him that he was still hungry.
His hunger drove his thought in his next action, and suddenly his grin changed to a rather teethy one. His gaze was almost like that of a hungry wolf stalking it's prey...then suddenly it shifted to the rodent that was sitting in his hair... He knew it would be wrong to eat the thing, after all, it could talk, so it was definitely intelligent...but if he roasted it and sprinkled a few seasonings on it, it would still taste delicious all the same. Suddenly his mind was filling with all of the possiblities that he could think of.....Different ways too cook his new unsuspecting furry friend... Rukon continued to pet the rodent...as drool began flowing from the left corner of his mouth.
My mind's tellin' me nooooo- but my body, my body's tellin' me ye-he-s!![/blockquote][/blockquote]

He had twisted his body so that his head was now speeding frontwards and directly towards the girl, obviously planning to use his head as a battering ram. The male really had no idea what the hell he was currently doing, what the heck was he thinking when he had bounced off the Goron's shoulder like that? What, did he think that some fancy maneuver was going to save his life? He couldn't fight for crying out loud, and Faust soon found himself thinking of ways to take this girl down once and for all, much to his dismay.
All thoughts were lost when all he was suddenly looking at were a pair of feet heading directly for his face. Not wanting to receive a hearty dinner of shoe, he barely managed to block the kick with his arms, forming an 'X' over his face. The impact was soon sending him on a downward spiral to the ground as gravity took over, but not before he had worked up a mouthful of venom and spat it through the gap in his arms, the poison heading directly for the brunette's face. Faust fell to the ground with a thud, again, this time at the Goron man's feet, groaning.

"Isn't it obvious?"
Nion barked, making himself comfortable on Rukon's broad white head, humming with content while the man petted him. The mouse leaned over so that his face was only mere inches away from the elderly man's to get a better glimpse of him, and he tutted with disapproval at the toothy grin on his face. This big boy was hungry, that's for certain, look at that amount of drool now coming out of his mouth! "Hey,big boy, don't you even dare think of eating me! Fausty's has this big-ass bag of food with him, so hold it out eh?" "Ow." he added when the kokiri landed at the man's feet, his face contorting with pain at the impact on his back (again) and now, his arms. "Get up, you pansy! "I don't want to fight anymore!" Faust screeched from the ground, his pacifist nature kicking in, clearly unhappy with how had things turned out. Here I come, rougher than the rest of 'em The best of 'em, tougher than leather As her feet met his arms, she was sent back just an inch or two from her advance. She didn't hut him (she thought), but she did seem to be the only to overpower, and spun out of the imbalance caused by their clash. Faust's venomous spit splashed against the back of her neck, if she hadn't been spinning from trying to kick him in the face, it would have definitely hit her face and afflicted her with it's effect. But alas, it just got in her hair and trailed down her back, under her clothes.
She planted herself on the ground, using her knees and hands as the cushion for her fall. She rolled backwards, rebounding back to where she left her axe. She took it back, gripping it with her two hands.
"DID YOU SPIT ON ME?!"
Spitting on people was just disgusting. It was a defensive ability to use, but it was still ridiculous and gross for a Sheikah (even though Faust is a Kokiri) to use such a thing that you would see reptiles use. She was lucky she didn't get a splash in her face though, that would have made her a lot more angry... After all, would you rather have someone spew saliva in your face or at the back of your head? Instead of planning to chop everyone that crossed her rampage after Faust into many pieces, she just shouted at him again.
"DO YOU REALLY WANT TO MAKE ME USE THIS?"
He said he didn't want to fight anymore, so she didn't go any further. Of course, that could be a lie. She glanced at Guts, but only for a brief second, then she went back to staring daggers at Faustus.

The hungry Goron was happy to hear what the rat had said. If the kid had food, it would probably be even better than what he had planned on doing to the rat. One thing that bugged him though was the fact that he didn't see the kid carrying a sack that was remotely large enough to hold as much food as it would take to satisfy Rukon's hunger. This thought caused his stomach to growl once again, although this time it didn't seem as ferocious as it had been the frist time. Just the thought of there being food close by allowed him to be a little bit more patient.
"You'd better not be lying....I may be be big, but I'm a lot faster than you'd imagine..."
Rukon's warning to the rat was nt a whole-hearted one at all, for he had already made it up in his mind that he w wasn't going to eat the little guy....no matter how delicious he might turn out to be...
It seemed Rukon was right, the kid didn't have it in him to carry the fight on afterall. What a dissapointment...though, not everyone enjoyed fighting like he did, and even those who might have some natural talent in it sometimes tried to avoid combat. The kid's little screeh told you that he wasn't much of a fighter after all, and after hearing both of them talk, Rukon was pretty sure that the little rodent on his head was more fearless than his companion. This wasn't something Rukon would say of course, he wasn't one to take a shot at someone's pride like that.
The kid's behavior was a bit off though...why spit at someone if you didn't want to fight them??? Spitting at someone is actually considered assault, and it could be considered self defense if she decided to rip him a new one right here and now. This kids was a bit strange, and although Rukon felt the need to intervene, he wanted to know what was going to happen, so he just stood and watched...

"Yes, I spat on you!"
Even though he was bruised and battered, the kokiri was still able to cheek the female to add to the lulz of the scene. Nevertheless, he regretted it the moment the words popped out; he had forgotten for that brief period that she had been wielding an axe a few moments. The impish smirk on his face at cheeking her vanishing on the spot, the boy got to his feet and backed away, cringing even more when she roared at him at whether he wanted her to use that lethal, scary weapon of hers or not. "Of course not!" he squawked, shuffling backwards. "Fighting doesn't solve anything you know!" Shuffle, shuffle. "In fact, do you know that fighting can lead to people becoming belligerent and end up killing each other?" His tone switched from its scared, innocent tone to a professional one as though he had now decided to lecture the brunette on his knowledge of Hyrule. "The estimated death rate of those dying in wars is... What the rate was, he never said because he had shuffled backwards until he had bumped into the Goron's huge chest. He leaped forward then and stood behind Rukon's mammoth structure, pointing at the angry girl with a finger and shooting her a sulky look, all signs of professionalism gone. "She's mean! It's all her fault! Protect meeee!" [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Here I come, rougher than the rest of 'em The best of 'em, tougher than leather She was almost going to charge again, but chose not to. If Intimidation worked, there was no point in trying to fight Faustus any further. She failed to put down her axe, though, and her tone wasn't any nicer.
"Where is it?" She wasn't sure where it had gone: if they still had it or it was tossed off somewhere. If it was lost forever, surely he would have to make up for it. If it turns out that Faustus was still keeping it (or Nion, though in the same party) then, well, she would be even angrier.
To Alarice, Nion was Faustus's responsibility (though she didn't know either of there names, nor did she know Guts). Though, being a Goron was fine, one that doesn't die of erosion would be pretty cool, too. Heck, all races were pretty cool to an extent.

Suddenly the sitatuation had gotten a bit strange. Now the kid was hiding behind Rukon, hoping he would protect him from the girl. The issue was,the goron had no reason to fight her, and wasn't so sure he should be protecting the kid anyways, he was a thief afterall.
The kid had made a mistake by hiding behind Rukon though, because he had put himself in Rukon's reach. As he pointed at the girl, accusing her of being "mean", Rukon reached down and grabbed the guy by the back of his shirt, lifting him off of the ground. Raising the kid until he was at eye level, Rukon spun him around a glared at him. It was more of an annoyed (-_-) stare than anything else, and he looked the kid dead in the eye. He then procceeded in walking toward the girl and frowned. He shook the kid by the back of the collar and said,"Just apologize and give her back whatever you took, and I believe we can all carry on with our business."
With this he spun Faustus around and lowered him to eye level with the girl. If she tried anything then he would just raise the kid up out of her reach, but at this point he didn't expect her to do anything violent tto the kid. He was trying to be the voice of reason, as he often found himself trying to be...it was a bit awkward considering that if he were in this predicament he would have fought from both of their perspectives (although he wasn't a thief).
