AppearanceBy comparison to other knights of the Hylian order, Zero might strike you as a little strange appearance wise. His hair, jet black is a stark converse to some of the other members of his race. Like the others though, his form is tall and generally thin. He does however maintain a lean muscle physique that tells he's built more for speed than out right strength. Clothing wise he wears relatively little armour, using the outfit of the Witch Hunting order, he trades greater protection for enhanced mobility.
Whats most striking about him however is his face. No matter the situation he seems to be in, its always the same. His eyes are somewhat glassy. As if he's seeing the world through a filter. That theres something in between him and reality that stops him feeling everything that he's supposed to.
WeaponsSairentoburakkuboido: Silent Black VoidA weapon that appears to be little more than a regular katana type longsword. There are several symbols marked across the blade of the weapon and some around the hilt. However they appear to hold no real magical significance whatsoever.
Majo no kusari: The Witch ChainA black chain etched with the same symbols as the ones on his sword. Decorated with vicious spikes on each link. It appears to be a deadly lashing weapon. Once again, these symbols appear to have no real magical capability.

Zero was born into an order of witchhunters. People who believed that magic was supposed to serve man, and should not be used as a way to oppress them. As of such the witch hunters formed together a group to oppose those mages who abused their talents. However the order was quickly outmatched and forced to retreat and rethink their strategy. During this process the talent of Banecraft emerged. Banecraft is the outright refusal of magical power. By a painful process of branding. An individuals own magical energy is turned in on themselves. Burning them out and making them what Mages describe as a " dead zone" for magic.
This essentially means that around, and inside them. Magic simply does not exist. A person armed with Banecraft is a mages absolute worst nightmare as any magic, upon touching the Banecraft user. Will simply cease to exist. Whilst absolute immunity to magic may seem like the greatest boon ever granted, the harsh side effects of being branded are quite clear. Like all branded with Banecraft. Zero is naturally immune to magic. However this includes ALL forms of magic, meaning that any kind of magical healing is out of the question. It also makes him unable to wield magic of any kind himself. Including magical weapons as the enchantment upon the weapon. Like any other kind of magic. Ceases to exist the moment he touches it.
The final and perhaps most horrifying curse of Banecraft. Is that once the person branded with it dies. They too cease to exist. There is no afterlife. No ressurection. When they die. Their body rots. And they become nothing.
Battle Effect: Immunity to Magic. Cannot regenrate HP/ be healed through magical means.
Banecraft: Existential Denial
The effects of the symbols upon his weapons suddenly become clear with this technique. The symbols upon his weapons are the same symbols branded onto his body with the marking of Banecraft. This allows Zero to temporarily push his status onto his opponent. Whilst this does make them immune to magical assault. its main purpose for him is to make them unable to use any of their magically enhanced powers. If bound by his chain. They vanish entirely for the time that they are bound.
Battle Effect:Chain: When bound, passive attribute enhancements disappear for the bind duration.

Banecraft: Hunter Training I ( Magic Tracking)
To a person bound with bane craft, magic is beyond their reach. This essentially makes them numb to magic. Unable to touch it. But that does not mean they are not aware of it. Witch Hunters with the brand are able to train a sixth sense which acts in a similar manner to smell. Allowing them to " track" magic as a blood hound would a scent. This allows them to track a person who they are hunting over long distances so long as the trail remains active.
In close encounters, it also allows them to determine the types of magic used by a person, each having its own unique signiture.
Battle Effect: Can ID magic users, can track movement.
Banecraft: Hunter Training II ( Martial)
The order of witch hunters takes its training seriously. No more so than the martial training of each hunter in the tools of the trade. Witch Hunters are impressive soldiers. Wielding exotic weapons that are extremely deadly in both long and close range. Whilst they can overcome all but the most skilled opponents in close combat. Their real focus lies in combating those who wield magic. Each time a Witch Hunter identifies a magic using opponent, they begin to tactically analyse how best to defeat the opponent. Whether it be through sheer force, or precise carefully choosen hits.
Battle Effect: Attack power increases in Incriments of 1x the number of magic based magical abilities that their opponent has.

HistoryThe Order of the Falling Moon was the first real successful order of withc hunters within Hyrule. They kept mostly to themselves, hunting witches, wizards and really any kind of magical creature that got too big for its own boots. Over the years however the order began to wane and corruption fell among its ranks. Making it less of an order of holy sentinals and more mage hunters for hire. Still the ability of those trained within its confines did not wax like the morals of the organisation.
Zero was born into the order. His parents too members. From birth to the age of five he had a relatively normal childhood. As all members of the order insisted. Attempting to train any child lower than that age normally saw problems in the later years. After the early years had passed, he was moved into the first levels of training. Most notably to increase his own magical talents. To an outsider this may have seemed rather pointless if they knew what was coming. But for those who were to be imbued with Banecraft for it to be successful. They needed to be burned out by their own magical powers. Thus those with little magical potiental rarely survived the process in the first place.
After it was dictated that he had enough magical power to pass the Rite of the WitchBane. Lorgana began the training in the essential tools of the trade. As one may have noticed up till this point. The child was treated as less of a child and more as a tool. And this is precisely the kind of attitude that he developed. He was a weapon. Forged and now to be tempered by his masters for their uses. Strict codes and guidelines were bored into his skull to make him ready for the days when he would become a full fledged hunter. Eventually the day came when he was imbued with the power of Banecraft. If the militaristic upbringing hadnt scarred what little emotion he had. Being burned out completely and cut off from everything like that served to finish it.
At the age of Eighteen after surviving the rite he moved into secondary training which lasted a further two years. This was dedicated to the actual fighting of mages and how to use his new found power. And how to survive using it. Once this training was complete he became a full fledged witch hunter. Scoring many hits for the order and earning them enough money to compensate his training. At the age of twenty five he left the order and joined the military of his blood born people. Rising up in the ranks to become a Hylian Knights. Not precisely one of the more influential members of the order. But still with his own uses.
After a few years of service he was identified by the higher ranks. Being choosen from among the human beings to be their champion. And leader of the wardens. As human champion, he is feared as an iron fist against rogue mages. And a tool for the Order of the Falling Moon to spread their influence.
