RACE,Minish.
GENDER,Female.
BATTLE ROLE,Melee DPS.
SEXUALITY,Heterosexual.
AGE,Eighteen.
ALLIANCE,Neutral.
PERSONALITY,Positive
- Content. Never would you meet someone so terribly happy! Piper hardly ever wears a frown on her face or finds herself complaining about some tired feet. It would be her very own fault for taking the walk in the first place, wouldn't it? She is not hard to please and easy to make laugh.
- Curious. Her interest is easily sparked although she plays it off as if she is not interested. She is an attention seeker’s dream come true because she timidly grows more intrigued with what has caught her attention. Unfortunately, she is her own worst nightmare because she has the great curiousness that ends all lives. She will follow her curiosity’s interest around and remain absolutely silent until they ask her a question or say something to her. Careful of what you say! Do not give her a reason to talk too much because she will gladly take up that opportunity. To give reason as to why this is a good trait is her
- Passionate. Someone with so much feeling couldn't possibly be any other way. Piper is undeniably passionate with everything and everyone that she deals with. She is very easily romanticized by passions of others and finds herself heart warmed by their stories. She does not realize that she is the very same way, but Piper's hope and determination gives her the same outlook on what lies before her. Once Piper is interested in something, she is in love with it and she wants nothing more than for it to succeed.
- Adventurous. This marries to her curiosity. When Piper has absolutely nothing to do, she wanders off to find something entertaining. Sometimes, her adventures are as simple as picking up a few trinkets she finds and adding them to her poorly constructed collected. Other times, she is gone for weeks and by the time she gets back, she can't recall what it is she left for in the first place. Piper enjoys adventures and enjoys the satisfaction of reaching the end of one.
- Intent. Now, Piper comes off as the sort who ignores mostly everything one will say to her because she likes to do things on her own. However, that is not at all her nature. Piper remembers most things people tell her (when she allows them the opportunity to speak) and likes to bring it up in later conversations. It's really the most sincere thing she can do. It also proves to be very handy when she wants to sponge up information. Since she can appear to not be listening, she finds out very strange things about people.
- Out-going. Friendliness is a great factor of Piper's life. She has the friendliness of a child. Such as opening conversations up with total strangers and playing with whoever feels like playing. She gives everyone chances and she likes to surround herself by people because Piper rarely meets someone with dark intentions. Her horizons aren't broad, so to speak. Her personality can be a bit too surprising but she can't help it.
- Determined. Where as most people would just give it up, Piper absolutely can't. She might work herself to death this way. Sometimes, she is so determined, that if there are hints that she should stop, she throws small fits. Piper cannot stand not being able to do something her mind is set on. If someone tells her she will not succeed, that only causes them the trouble. She will fuss with herself and even go to the trouble of setting her goals higher so her success seems twice as good.
- Protective. Piper attaches herself to things. People, items, whatever. When she does, she feels an obligation to protect these things. When they get hurt, even if it's just a scratch, she will go out of her way to make sure they are absolutely fixed and feeling better. When others threaten her close ones, she of course (being all talk and no bite), will threaten until the sun goes down.
- Loyal. Piper has no reason not to be. Once she attaches herself to something, she will not betray it. Even when she is persuaded, she won’t listen. As hard as it is to believe, she does care enough to keep her word to them even in the most twisted ways. Piper doesn’t take kindly to betrayal either. Betraying her is a big mistake, though the threat of her shouldn't affect many. She finds betrayal to be the root of all evils.
- Quick. Sure, she might seem a bit slow or even a bit absent when being spoken to, but she catches things very quickly. Piper gets a witty joke when it's being said and she's rather talented with puzzles. She's a fast learner, thankfully. Piper doesn't ever need to be told something twice.
Negative
- Sticky Fingers. When she sees something she likes, she has to have it. Piper will get what she wants no matter what. Most things, though, are mere items that are just waiting to be taken. She will take them without looking twice. This is a horrible trait for her because she is so honest her lies are obvious and she's so nervous, her defense would be awful. Piper takes from anyone, though she tries to refrain stealing from her friends. To her misfortune, half the things she takes are dropped behind, taken back or stolen from her. Sadly, she sees nothing wrong as long as she doesn't get caught.
- Too Honest. This isn't a good thing in the least. She has no idea how to hold back any of her thoughts, which is what gets her trouble most of the time. Her mouth blurts out the first thing she thinks of and if it is hurtful, she doesn't seem to notice. In that way, Piper can be a rude girl but her concern for that is at its minimum. She tells people the moment they ask for her opinions that they might regret allowing her the privilege. It's not always that bad. At least you know that her compliments are genuine.
- Nervous. Piper's first and most noticeable flaw is her ever so delicate nerves. She's the very same fumbling girl that loses thought when presented with a pressuring task or when overwhelmed by even just a statement of fact. She can't help but to say something absolutely embarrassing and when Piper is embarrassed, the feeling does not fade for hours at a time. Not to say she is shy. One will find that she never gives up the chance to blander on about something uninteresting.
- Loquacious. If there's any one who could literally talk your ears right off, it would be Ms. Thimble. She will go on and on about one subject and suddenly switch to another so there is absolutely no silence between the time her converser greets her to the very moment they part. She's had to been commanded to stop speaking for the sake of sanity and at that point, her feelings are a little hurt. It's very hurtful for a social butterfly to be called a chatterbox. She will claim that "they could have just asked" but they know very well they had done so many times.
- Impatient. To dearest Piper, patience is no more a virtue than hitting an innocent bystander. She would rather jump off a cliff than have to wait any longer than she has to. That's figurative, by the way. The deal with Piper is she is so used to taking what she wants rather than waiting for it that she seems to have forgotten how. She won't say that she's impatient but her body language speaks well enough. The foot tapping, pacing little girl who, at the minute before her waiting is over, explodes. Suggestion for all future friends to Piper: don't ever make her wait for surprises. It will walk hand in hand with her overbearing curiosity.
- Sensitive. Not one insult can pass as a simple excuse for our fox friend. When someone insults her or yells at her, Piper becomes emotional and starts to overreact. It's so obnoxious, it makes one such as yourself want to run as fast as possible before she hangs around with her red face asking for an apology. Whether this sensitivity is to the color her face turns when she's embarrassed or to the annoyance of her uncontrolled tail, it is best to avoid any rude comment. Piper remembers all of them and most likely will rage about them.
- Trustful. She puts her faith in all people if not all the wrong people. Piper is a "never learn" sort of girl and once she's set her mind about someone, it's hard to change her mind. Until she learns the hard way and is hurt directly, she only sees the good in people. Not only that, but she is willing to speak to anyone as a stranger, even when they look like a suspicious character. She doesn't seem to realize the transition between safe and frightening. Her intuition is extremely unreliable.
- Nosy. This walks in hand with her curiosity. Piper is a touch-and-feel-and-poke-and-take kind of person. She sticks her nose in everyone’s business and goes through all their things. Privacy isn’t allowed for other people. Piper is also very nosy of her own fear. If she's in the dark, she will continue on until she finds or something. Rather, until something finds her. She asks questions until there isn't possibly anything more that can be said about that subject. While you will call it annoyance, she will call it "investigation".
- Childish. It's absolutely true. While most people think witty jokes are funny, she thinks people hitting their faces into walls is funny. Piper is also immature about arguments and put up fairly poor ones. This also makes her appear to be innocent (which she is, aside from her kleptomaniac traits). She acts like a child and by what can be seen, she must think like one. She also, to her friend's distress, throws fits like one.
- Over Confident. She truly believes she's capably of doing anything she sets her mind to. Even if it seems physically impossible, she will try her hardest just to prove everyone wrong. Her confidence doesn't lie in her appearance but in her ability to do great things. She also has no concept of size and will harass those who are bigger and more frightening than her if the time presents itself.
APPEARANCE,Piper is, as would be expected of her kind, relatively small. She looks almost like a child, being only a pint of a woman. That's right, she stands roughly 4'10'', but because she's always on her tiptoes, she appears to be 5'0'' exactly. This is all ears included! She likes to consider herself of normal stature and assumes everyone else is simply too big. To make up what she lacks in size, Piper carries in color. She has vibrantly blonde hair that never stays in one place. It's long, nearly to her midthigh and mind you, it does not get along with the rain. Her tail and ears are the same color, both being a bit too large.
The only clothes she owns are what she wears on her back; a brown dress held together by a belt and its over dress, tied in the front as a striped corset. Unfortunately, this over dress had a mishap, therefore only half the skirt exists. Fortunately, with money saved up, she was able to visit a Taylor and have frills sewn on. Piper likes to wear high stockings and boots made to trudge in the deepest of muds. She has a fascination with bows, which are generally worn in her hair, against her tail or on her collar.
WEAPONS,Dagger. As stated above, Piper carries a dagger in the compartment of her boot. It's obvious what the use of a dagger is for but just to mention; Piper uses it to slash her opponents closely.
Claws and Fangs. The two gifts given to her as a Minish are her fox-like features. While her teeth are very sharp, she might not be quick enough to bite an opponent so she uses her claws for most of her battles.
ITEMS,Pouch. Worn around her neck and holds all her small items.
ABILITIES,Stun. When throwing her dagger at an opponent, she can temporarily stun them for about five seconds. This gives her an opportunity to attack or run. This attack works for one post and does low to moderate damage. It has a cooldown of four posts.
Free Running. While Piper appears small, she is very light on her feet, so to speak. She can jump large distances, run up walls and do back flips. Being able to run off and around buildings proves very useful. It makes for a quick getaway.
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Animal form. Usually, Minish are able to transform into their mammilian form. However, there are some that can't. It's like learning how to ride a bike really. Most people learn how to do it, but there are some who don't
Level 0 - Minish are stuck in their humanoid form.
Level 1 - Animal form can be accessed.
Size change. Some Minish can change their size. While most of them just stay at human size, sometimes they change that whenever they need to make a quick escape from some kind of chaos that's giving them trouble. The extent they can sizeshift varies, but most can do it.
Level 0 - The Minish cannot sizeshift
Level 1 - The Minish can only change their size to half of a human.
Invisibility. Some Minish, when exposed to sunlight, are able to turn themselves invisible for a limited amount of time. This is useful in say, sneaking up on someone, or just playing a prank, or trying to run away. However, be warned, the moment a hostile action is taken while invisible, the invisibility breaks.
Level 0 - The Minish cannot turn invisible.
Level 1 - The Minish can turn invisible for 1 turn with a cooldown of 8 turns.
Level 2 - The Minish can turn invisible for 1 turn with a cooldown of 7 turns.
HISTORY,
Ever since Piper was a young, she had a fascination with heroic tales and people. If her brother were still around to speak for her, he would say how terribly interested in the most boring things she seemed to be. Do not assume he is dead! Piper hasn’t heard from her dearest brother since they were young and she, being the hopeful girl she always is, believes he is very much alive. As children, they were polar opposites. While she was loud and excitable, he kept to himself and tried his hardest to keep her out of harm’s way. Originally, they were born in Peak Province but, without Piper’s acknowledgment, her brother took her when she was very young and left for Ordona.
She has been raised to believe that it is because they died from the harsh weather but in all actuality, her brother Sage despised the evils of a cunning fox. He wished to save Piper from the humiliation of evil. As they grew older, she grew more and more curious about her parents. While Sage was a wonderful replacement in Piper’s eyes, the slight lack of food and protection made her less than privileged. That turned her to stealing. Borrowing, really. While Sage tried his hardest to make her goodhearted, he had to scold her nearly everyday for taking things without asking. Even to this day, she has difficulty keeping her hands off things but she has found a medium.
It was later on, just a few years ago, that Piper found out her parents were still living. They supposedly left for the Minish Forest because their age made the weather too harsh on them in Peak Province. Claiming to be her parents, Piper was very hurt and appalled by Sage. She accused him of betrayal and while he tried to explain they were not good people, she did not listen. Instead, she left with the two who were her real parents. They traveled together for a few months and all seemed well. On one unparticular day, the Minish parents of hers stopped another weary traveler and forced him to give them all his things. Slowly, they began to show more of this behavior openly. They admitted the only reason they took her with them was to have another member to help attack innocent people.
Piper realized she had made a terrible mistake. She returned to Peak Province to find her beloved brother but those who knew him said he left long ago. Now, while most would claim him dead, Piper is convinced that he left looking for her and they have yet to run into each other. She travels alone in a desperate search but along the way, she knows she’ll make friends to help her.
