A Desert and and an Oasis (Kotone)

[Lucas]

Ah yes, the desert. A peaceful place that is blistering hot and full of life threatening dangers. The perfect place. Lucas was on yet another one of his misadventures, and was led to the Haunted Wasteland. He had been traveling most of the day, smiling brightly as he pranced throughout the area, unaware that he had been lost for several hours. His thirst for adventure would never be quenched no matter how many remote locations he visited. Lucas's imagination was too huge to realize the dangers of a situation, he performed many different actions that would be deemed very childish and immature. Then again, that's his personality. The hyperactive Kokiri Boss who was always completely oblivious to everything around him.

By some miracle he found himself standing in the middle of an oasis. It made him grin with glee and satisfaction. He had found what he had been looking for. A mini forest with a luxurious place to swim, in the desert. His misadventure was a success. He happily hopped into the freshwater without even removing his clothing.

[Kotone]

A group of Gerudo women was coming back from.... a secret location. Kotone was with them as she did this ever three days travel threw this area. She knew this spot by heart as she did grow up here. She had to know the location of watering holes and where the food and animals are in the desert. If she did not their tribe would be in worst spot then they are right now. However on this return to the watering hole she saw tracks in the sand leading to the spot and she was no the only to see them as the other ladies seen it too. This mean someone had enter their home land either to spy or just being dumb.

Kotone and the other rode by horses as they got off to bring them to the water hole they heard splashing of the water. Kotone stop as she left her hand to tell the other to stop and get down. They brought out their weapons and started in. As they jumped out they stop and looked puzzle to find a KID. A Small boy splashing in the waters of their home land like a fool. They looked at each other as they have not seen a small boy in these parts since they chase away a village of human many years ago.

[Lucas]

Lucas was full of excitement and joy at the sight of new people bursting forth out of seemingly nowhere. He was happy that he would get a chance to meet new people on such short notice. He was glad that he would make new friends soon. He abruptly halted his swimming and sat upright. He flashed them an inviting grin. "Come on in everyone! The waters great!" He waved both of his hands in the air back and forth to help focus their attention on him even more. These people would make great friends! He already had so many people marked as his friend, and this would make him have even more!

The truth was, was that Lucas didn't actually have any 'Real' friends. Sure in his mind everybody was his friend, but only a very select few cared for the boy. Its not that he didn't have any friends, its just that many people think of him as a nuisance rather than a close acquaintance.

[Kotone]

The gerudo put up their weapon as Kotone sighed at his. Really a kid out here. What was the world coming to? One of the ladies came out in front of Kotone as she went to talk to the boy. "Where is your mommy dear? You not post to be out here all alone" The gerudo women asked the kid. Kotone glare at the boy as she sign to the other gerudo women saying to ignore the kid and go on. If nothing else whack the kid off the head tell him not to swim in their drinking water.

Really a kid out in the desert it was in a knight in full armor in the desert. What is wrong with these people? Next she might see a Zora in the desert or something along those line. Heck if she see a Zora in the desert then she might call Night a hero. It something that not post to happen and yet in her day and age things like this was happening. It was just wrong in her mind.

[Lucas]

Lucas blinked. Mommie? What was a Mommie? He tilted his head slightly as the gerudo asked the question. Maybe it was some kind of vegetable or something. The word was completely foreign to him. It was like that one time when one of his 'friends' asked where his parents were. There was one thing flashing through his mind, he would solve the mystery behind the word 'Mommie'.

"Whats a Mommie? Am I supposed to have one?" As of late he's heard so many strange new words. What were they? And why hasn't he heard of them before?

[Kotone]

Now this was new someone did... well kid did not know what a mommy was. Of course the two girl went aww for the kid feeling sorry for him and all. However Kotone did feel bad for him but she just felt something was off. "A Mommy is one that looks over you and help you grow up and gave life to ya" The gerudo said as Kotone goes and back in to the bush. She did not need to hear this junk.

She went and got the horses and broth them around to get of the water. She ignored what the girl were doing and talking to the boy. She did not want to get in to talking about mother. She lost her and she did not want to remember it. She bent down by the horses as they drank and chew on the plant life that was around. She just start at the water in deep thought.

[Lucas]

Hmmmm... so a mommie is someone who looks at you and gives you life? That made a little sense to him, but not nearly enough. Okay there are two possibility's of who his mommie is. One: The forest, because it gave life to him; Or two: this lady, because she was looking at him. The gears turned in the forest child's brain, and he flashed a confused look at the Gerudo. "Are you my mommie?" He paused for a second trying to thread his next words together in his curious mind, "Or is it the forest?" His loud childish voice never changed, nor wavered, he was simply curious.

[Kotone]

Kotone laughed even thought no sound came from her. The female gerudo face flushed as she shook her head as the other girl seem to hide her laughing. She was flustered at Kotone and the other girl. "NO~! My little one at home and she surely not a boy" She said even thought it was a kid she was talking to. The other pat her on the back trying to clam her down as Kotone was laughing still about it.

"Calm down He just a kid I doubt he really need to know to much about this" The other lady said. Their of them heard him say forest but it was funny to Kotone. Sure she did not know what the kid was doing here or the fact he swimming in their water like it a holiday or something. However it was not of her concern as kids can't get in to that much trouble out here alone.
