The sun was high in the sky, the day had just started to grow even warmer. It was the perfect time to dip her toes into the shallow pools of the spring of Ordona Province.
It was the farthest Ilia had ever gone, but she seemed content with it... for the moment. Ilia quite enjoyed relaxing her feet in the nice, cool water. She sat along the sandy edge of the spring and wiggled her toes, watching as the water rippled. A content sigh escaped the petite girl and she stretched her arms high into the air. As they came back down, she leaned back and laid on the ground. The earth was warm and the sand was soft against her bare arms.
To Ilia, this was paradise. Why would she ever want to leave?
Her gaze settled on the sky, the endless blue. There were some clouds off in the distance, though most were hidden by the canopy of trees. Her head slowly turned to glance around at her surroundings. It was so peaceful and wonderful, how could she ever have thoughts of leaving?
Then she noticed the little patch of reeds, shaped like horseshoes. Ilia sat up and reached over to one, a saddened smile appearing on her lips. She found these adorable little reeds were useful in calling forth her best friend, her childhood friend... Well, his beautiful horse, at least. But wherever Epona went, Link was sure to follow... Ilia sighed softly and tenderly turned the reed around in her fingers. She wondered, if she were to blow into it... Would he come back?
Ilia pressed the opening of the reed against her lips and blew gently. A hissing and then a shrill squeal came out of the instrument. It made Ilia cringe and pull the reed from her mouth. She never was good at playing instruments. That was Link's job! Tender memories started to come back to her, and she smiled.
It was worth it to practice, if only to see if it would bring her friend back. Ilia sat there for a while, blowing into the reed, trying and trying to make it sound like the call she used for Epona.

Unfortunatly for this maiden the noise made by her reed was not to be one that would attract her friend. But rather one that would garner the attention of one most unsavoury character. Well unsavoury would indicate that he was perhaps bad in some way. And to some, it might be considered thusly. However Leviathan was simply, niave. He did not know of good or evil. Just of the primal sense of self.
It was perhaps the most tainted sense of innocence. There was a smile across his face as he approached from the opposite side of the spring. Whilst there was enough moisture in the air to sustain his body. Suspecnding even a portion of ones body in the clear blue liquid gave Leviathan some measure of relaxation.
So much so that his mind seemed to be rather distracted as to the presense of the other person as he approached. He had already fed and wasn't particularly hungry at the moment. So with his mind merely set on his own internal satisfaction he just sat and dipped his feet in the waters. Eyes rolled back as the water sanke through the flesh of his Jul form. He couldn't quite explain how it felt. The closest thing one could describe to a human about just how Leviathan was feeling was perhaps the idea of how a human might feel after walking for days in the desert, with only baking sun and dry sands to touch their skin.
And then...to dive into cool waters. Quenching an inner thrist, a feeling of total bodily relaxation and gratification of a sensual nature.
Then, she blew the reed. Making that horrible screeching noise that broke him from his sense of serenity and sharply brought her to his attention. An annoyed look crossed his face, but as the noise itself stopped the look of relaxation once more overtook him. So there was a mortal here. Didn't much matter. He laid back arms outstreched, Twiddling those digits in the water.
" Today is a good day, I like today...it is nice..."
He wasn't really speaking to anyone in particular. But had entered into a sort of passive drunkeness that one might assume when in such a euphoric state. Drunk on his own pleasant feelings as it were. " Do you Joor enjoy the water as well?....I imagine it must be most dry living on land". This question/statement was this time aimed at the girl.
