APPEARANCE,Look for yourself. Jack humbles himself as an average lookin' lad for his age. He sports dirty blonde hair short, slicked up, wild and short spikes with subtle sideburns shaping his face. Jack stands at a good 6 foot, 2 inches, with an lean, athlete's form. This is due to his Hylian heritage however the only thing that distinguishes him a Hybrid is his round ears, and dirty blonde hair. When his mane of hair isn't spiked, it falls short, and shaggy. It appears a little more on the unkempt side than anything. His eyes are a soft coat of hazel leaning more on the honey brown in color, but it does have a tendency to change hues every now and then.
His attire mainly consists of a white long-sleeved, short turtleneck shirt, over a ornate gold, and blue vest. His bottom half are a pair of dark brown rider pants with a belt looped around his waits, with two pouches on each side. His feet are covered by a pair of leather shoes for the sake of comfort, but if need be he could easily change to boots (but those are for formality sake). He wears two rings on his left hand, one on his middle finger, and another on his pinky.
WEAPONS,Reech: Standard long sword, inherited from his father, who earned it from his father. The age of the sword is well hidden due how well it's taken cared for.
ITEMS,Two pouches: One carries his essentials for survival, and the other the storage for dried goods, water bottle container, etc.
Raider Goggles - Each member of the Sky Pirates are given a pair of leather goggles with an adjustable strap to fit around any head size. This is known as the Raider Goggles. It acts like a pair of binoculars when used by itself, but when used in conjunction with a ranged fighter, it is a scope, sharpening your sense of sight. It can turn any form of ranged attack into a potent and long-ranged sniping weapon. Plus, it protects your eyes from smoke, and other eye threatening hazards.
The Sparrow - One of Hyrule’s first and only airships. Crafted by Ooccan engineers to potentially enhance trade or perhaps prepare for war with the ground. Whatever it's true purpose was, it belongs in the hands of Jack now, who intends to run his own business up in the skies.
ABILITIES,Aeromancy: Jack has a natural sense of currents, specifically with the wind, thus over the years has learned to harness the natural element, and create it at will. Should he need to, he could easily change the direction of the wind's current passively. Although he possesses the element of Wind, but he does not gloat about it or even hint that he knows how to use magic. It is thanks to his ability to manipulate the wind that Jack has special techniques developed from it. They are:
- Tornado: With the ability of manipulating essentially the air around him, he can create at will a tornado the size of a small house, and launch it in his opponent's direction. It's not the tornado that you have to worry about, but rather what gets sucked in, and collides within it's path. The tornado is active for one post.
Cooldown: 4 Posts- Turbulent Strife: Jack swings his sword at the target and it becomes suspended in air between them. The wind not only carries the swing of the blade, but also copies of the sword appearance, if only transparent to the bare eye and all (# of blades) lunge themselves at the target. Since he's only a novice wind wielder, Jack can only create two copies along with his actual blade to project at his target.
Cooldown: 4 Posts
RACIAL ABILITIES,
Superhuman Strength - Level 2: The human's strength is 3 times stronger than the average human being.
Mighty Wind - Level 2: If the human is killed, they will come back, having a moderate amount of strength left. This only works once a thread.
HISTORY,
Jack was born to Benjamin and Meredith Craven tucked away in the village of Kakariko. During his childhood, he spent most of his days playing with wooden swords, out in the middle of the open plains. There he found a friend in the wind that blew incessantly wherever he went.
His adolescence were spent under the apprenticeship of one of the local swordsmen in hopes of one day becoming a knight of valor. He admired the tales of the Hylian Knights, and aspired to one day enlist apart of their group in order to serve his country. For the longest time, pride was his vice, dominating his personality and coating his words and actions. Because of this, he struggled to grasp his element for it, too, was proud and would not allow itself to be handled by someone who thought themselves better than it. Whenever a magic teacher told Jack of his flaw, a fit of rage would occur.
It took many years to control the wind, or rather form a sort of alliance with it so that they worked together for the greater good. Along with swordsmanship, he adapted at horseback riding, and developing a technique only unique to him, 'Turbulent Strife'. By the time he reached the coming of age, around when he was seventeen or eighteen, his ears were pierced, marking the sign of adulthood. He eagerly enlisted in the military where he served four years working as guard around Hyrule's borders.
At the age of twenty-two, when his time was up, he decided it was time to explore other things in life, and did not reenlist. Jack returned back home to Kakariko where he was welcomed with open arms. Back home, he met a young woman by the name of Cecilia, whom he began to court and eventually fell in love with. For eleven months they've been together, and all was merry in his life. However what brought him the greatest joy was when Cecilia accepted his proposal when he asked her hand in marriage.
By the end of the year, they would be married.
... or at least, that is what was suppose to happen.
Late in the evening one night, Cecilia was kidnapped by a gang of thieves, who happened to be in the area. They began picking up women who happened to be wandering the roads at night all alone. His fiance was only returning back home from picking up supplies to begin preparing for the new Craven family. Jack heard her cries, and blindly pursued the thieves straight into the heart of their hideout. He fought his way through each apprehension in order to save his wife-to-be.
He was too late.
Cecilia's throat was slit, her clothes were torn, and tattered with bruises all over her arms, and delicate face. Jack snapped right then and there, unleashing a massive tornado, sucking everything within it's torrent, and killing off the rest of the bandits. He returned home a broken man, wounded, and weak. Jack was bed ridden for three weeks before his flesh wounds healed, but his heart was locked in limbo. The end of the year left him lost, and confused of what should he do with his life.
After he turned twenty-three, he found it best to depart from Kakariko Village, and seek his worth in life elsewhere. He needed space, and to forget about Cecilia. Now he travels across Hyrule in search of his calling in life or so to speak. He has an idea...
Hopefully, it'll take him to the skies.
