Nairore should've known better than to turn on her sister like that anyway. If there was anything Lori held over her it was that ability of hers to see into the truth of a situation. She could see things much better than Nairore, she was far better when it came to deep thought, and frankly when it came to battles of wit. While Nairore was witty herself, her comments could only ever scratch while Lori's were capable of stinging. It was truly a gracious thing that the girl was quiet and rarely exercised that gift.
The Gerudo woman sighed and fell back onto her rump, her legs crossing in front of her. There was no beating her sister, not like this. Especially since they were both so damned stubborn. She shook her head, then reached over and once more ruffled Lori's hair. "That'a girl. Don't take crap from anybody," she said simply, not acknowledging Lori's actual words but rather the fact that she had offered such a vehement and sturdy defense so quickly.
Lori had been painfully close to the truth in her comments, but Nairore was never going to admit that. Such admission was a weakness and such weakness could be exploited. Instead you had to seek to overcome the weakness, to master it and turn it into a strength. At least that's how Nairore saw it, though she had no idea how to turn such a fear into a strength and instead tucked it away for later contemplation. Much later, though she would not admit that either.
There was an awkward moment when Nairore didn't know what else to say. This was, once again, her sister's specialty. Nairore didn't particularly like these awkward moments, but they seemed to pop up ever now and then. She leaned back against the tree once more and turned her focus to the few fluffy white clouds that scattered the sky. The sky was always the same, always there and never showed any judgment. It was a comfort blanket Nairore clung to. No matter where she was or what was happening, the sky was always the same.

The building pressure that had bubbled within her just as quickly released. Lorina blinked a few times, letting her temper go as quickly as it had come. A soft sigh escaped her lips, and she allowed herself to sink back onto the grass. She was surprised by her vehement reaction, and almost wished it had not happened. Becoming angry was not something she enjoyed doing, and it left her feeling more drained than before. At times the young woman wondered if her rare outbursts of stubborn tenacity were an insight into what her personality could have been. It was hard to answer, since there were so many fragments of herself that she did not understand. Characters that contained the broken puzzle she had become, and Lorina was unsure if she wished to piece it together. Honestly, the idea of sleep did not sound so bad to her at the moment. Yes, all she wished to do was fall into a peaceful and deep sleep.
Her azure eyes flickered to her sister, smiling faintly as the elder girl ruffled her hair. Her words had gone unacknowledged, and she was fine with that. Perhaps there was reason to be proud in her rare spouts of temper, but Lorina did not enjoy releasing her anger on her sister. "I prefer feigned ignorance to direct confrontation," she admitted. By nature she was a very demure and well-mannered girl. She was able to take quite a lot from anyone before she succumbed to her temper, and she preferred to keep it that way. Anger was useful, but too often could be turned against someone. Besides, it was most amusing to watch as others floundered to attempt to gain a rise from her, and only have them looking like the fool in the end. Yes, Lorina took pleasure from the chaos of human nature a little too much. The silence soon descended upon them, and there was quite the awkward tone resonating within it.
Lorina glanced upward at the vast sky, and almost wished she could lose herself within it. Infinite and mysterious, and so much more than her own imaginings. The clouds drifted by slowly, and so she took to her hobby of finding familiar shapes within the sky. "Oh, that one looks like Rabbit," she pointed out happily. Cloud gazing was always a favorite hobby of hers, and so she let herself to lay back upon the grass, her drawing pad pressed against her chest securely. Lazily she blew a few blond strands from her eyes, searching for any more visible shapes to identify.

Lori followed Nairore's lead and turned her attention to the sky. The sisters often found themselves enjoying the clouds or identifying constellations at night in the stars. Some of those constellations were difficult to find each night, so it was a never ending game of being the first one, whenever the weather was suitable and they had the energy to lay under the stars in their garden for hours on end. There had even been a few mornings where they'd woken up soaked from the morning dew in the grass which had been their pillow. The fondness of childhood memories. Lori laid back and started to examine the clouds, picking out shapes. Nairore shifted on the ground and laid down beside her sister. Her hand reached down and found Lori's, gripping it and giving her a squeeze. Despite the momentary harsh exchange, all that was over. Nairore couldn't stay mad at Lori, and she knew it was the same the other way around. "Just remember ignorance isn't always bliss. You can't always hide behind it," Nairore said, then considered offering some combat advice, but knew better. Lori was not a fighter like her, the advice would be lost. Instead she just turned her attention to the clouds once more, trying to identify which one it was Lori had spotted. Once more Lori's imagination gave her the advantage here, as Nairore couldn't find which one she meant. To her they all just looked fluffy, but she never admitted that to Lori. It was a game they played, it brought them together, and because of that she let Lori think she could see it. There was no need for them to fight, it was a peaceful time, a time to relax.
