Kiir shrugged at the obvious question. "The captain of a vessel is always available for his crew. Any concerns about payment, jobs, all that, y'know, needs," he said, offering her an innocent smile with guilty eyes. "I just want my crew to feel at home and comfortable aboard my vessel, whatever that might involve," he added without much conviction in his innocence. It was quite fun playing with someone on his own level, or at least close to it. With his interest now abundantly clear it was time to tease back by casually dodging the obvious.
Though the way her finger twined her own hair was oddly seductive. Maybe it was because that was a fairly innocent gesture coming from a very sensual and very impressive woman. It felt as if she were revealing a little bit of vulnerability, yet he knew all too well that she was doing it on purpose, that it was merely an illusion. Impressive, to say the least, but not enough to conquer such a worldly individual such as himself. He smirked. Then she dropped her offense for honesty.
"Actually I had you when I let slip the word 'fly', you just didn't know it then," he said with a gentle shrug. "Not that I'm gloating or anything. Anyway, we don't have a large crew yet, so you'll be enjoying quite a bit of space for the time. Crew bunks can hold a maximum of twenty before things start to get a little uncomfortable, according to the schematics. I think that's closer to fifteen. Including you we're four at the moment, though expect new additions at any point, as my crew isn't complete yet," he said with a grin, stepping forward and offering his hand.
"I'm not doing this to make a fortune. I'm in it to fly the skies, to keep the ship going, and, I won't lie, get some notoriety to my name. It's always fun to have influence, don't you think?" he said with a laugh. How true were those words coming from the leader of the Ooccan people? But that was going to be his little secret for the time being.

The word touché sprung to mind. Along with several obscenities. He certainly knew how to play. He clearly seemed more fazed by the more 'innocent' gesture of twirling her hair, even if it was only a glimmer in his eye. She noticed these sorts of things in men. It was a knack, probably due to far too much time spent seducing and tormenting men. Still, she laughed at his comments, the playing innocent. At home and comfortable? Oh, she'd make sure she was. The smirk on her face had been proof of that.
You're probably right there. I have to say, you make a good offer, particularly on the whole 'lots of space' issue. Not that I have problems mingling with people. So. Four of us at the minute. Should be a riot.
She elected to not take the hand. Instead, she grasped his forearm, just in front of the elbow, a smile upon her face. Handshakes were marks of friendship. This was a mark of comradeship. It meant far more. It came from her tribe within the Gerudo, a greeting shared by warriors, comrades in arms. It seemed far more appropriate than a handshake. The two of them were barely two hands breadths away. She locked eyes with him, smirking once again. Oh how tempting it was to move closer. She restrained herself.
Just.

Kiir was no stranger to foreign customs. During his brief time actually caring about the goings-on in the court he had met a few foreigners. So it didn't go unappreciated when the Gerudo reached out and grabbed his arm instead of his hand, pulling them closer together. The act itself was obvious enough, the closeness showing kinship. It wasn't missed, however it wasn't entirely observed either. All things considered there were more things on Kiir's mind during the closeness than kinship.
The sweet and salty aroma of sweat from her earlier training session, for example, was rather distracting. It was a scent that lingered, mixed with the smell of the desert, the smell of ecstasy, the smell of a proud woman. It all mingled and caused such a pleasurable fragrance that he could hardly resist closing the gap, barely managing to stop himself from being overcome by it. But if anyone could master mind over matter it was Kiir and miraculously he resisted.
He wasn't going to be the first one to collapse to the building tension.
"I'm sure it'll be a pleasure to have you on board," Kiir said with that same contradicting smile. "Would you care to pick your bunk now or save that for later?" he said, practically throwing it all out there. He wouldn't be the first one to give simply because having such a fierce woman longing in ecstasy was a sensation all on its own. He wouldn't give first, but he'd work toward causing her to cave instead!

This was a whole new challenge for her. She'd never witnessed such reserve in any man. Or for that matter, any woman. She smirked as the two remained close, his scent, one of sky, and... Something else... Unidentifiable, for the moment. Her eyes flickered with the thoughts that ran through her head. What WAS he... He was more than some skybound thief. To find out about an airship, built under secrecy, and steal it from those who commissioned it... That required much more than your average looter. She continued to smirk, before releasing his arm.
Hmmm... I suppose I should call a bunk now. Wouldn't want to miss out on the second best bed on the ship.
She laughed lightly, before placing her hands on her waist, lifting her head, exposing her lithe, pristine neck, the slightest sheen of sweat lying upon her flesh. She casually wondered what he would look like in the same state of physical exertion. The thought entertained her for a moment, as she envisioned it in her minds eye. Didn't work too well. He was far too clean of image for that. She toyed at her bottom lip with her teeth, lightly, still trying to identify that scent.
Well, lead on cap'n.

Kiir turned around and began to walk. Mostly to hide the sigh of relief and the gnawing on his lip he had to do. He had almost cracked, almost given in. But he was also a very stubborn person. This he knew, yet he wasn't going to do anything about it. She was going to give in first, he was determined of this, and it would be glorious, that much was for sure. Especially considering the direction the tour had taken. Kiir smirked to himself. This would be it.
"Bunks are quite simple. A bed, a chest and a desk per person. The chest and the desk drawer will have locks for you, same key for either. Bunks are for whatever use you want, of course," he added flippantly, leading her into the room where the bunks were. "Unfortunately there isn't enough room aboard for everyone to have their own private room or I would offer them. Feel free to put up curtains or whatever you wish for your standard of privacy."
He sat down on a bed whimsically, resting back and looking up at her. "Take your pick, you've essentially got first dibs," he said and waved his hand across the bountiful amount of beds at her disposal. "New beds, all of them, this ship has never had a crew before now. So you get to break on in~"

Amusing how often her first meetings with guys ended up in a room with beds in it. She never, however, thought there would be quite this many though. The smirk remained plastered on her face, as she watched his poise. His natural grace. He was very light on his feet, near silent, despite the boots on the wooden floor. Whether part of his being a thief, or something more... Natural, she wasn't sure. But there was a surefootedness about him that was more than she would expect from someone. She looked at the bunks, still smirking. Simple was good. Kept the mind focussed.
We don't want them too good. People wouldn't want to get out of them.
Loaded statement? Definitely. She grinned at him as he sat down on the bed. Oh the temptation. She resisted, again. She had much better ideas than a simple instant gratification that would make him feel better about himself. No man would ever outdo her in this field. She looked around the bunks, looking approvingly, before licking her top lip, striding confidently over to the one he sat on.
I think I'll take...
She pushed him with one hand, firmly, knocking him clean onto his back, leaning over the edge, looking down on him, raising her eyebrows mischievously.
...this one.
She toyed her tongue with her bared teeth, her grin radiating utter mischief, matched by her eyes, hands on her hips, before she laughed once, a short, almost cutting exhalation.
I'll be back in two days. I have to get my gear together. Hold the thought you were just thinking.
She turned on her heel, sashaying her way out of the door, a near savage grin upon her face. Leave 'em hangin'. Best way in her eyes.
