Din was walking to the port when he suddenly got a small glint in his eyes, and slowed his steps. His eyes began scanning the area in front of him, and as he bumped into a lowly pirate on the way to White Bear's, he jacked two knives from his belt. He had a unique scanning ability to locate any possible threats or interests in him within a certain radius, which allowed him to avoid danger.
As he neared the ship, he passed Vanessa and stopped immediately after passing her. "...Your looking for me."
"YEEAH!" The Pirates roared out at the female on the bar counter.
Casella began making the drink with a raised eyebrow. "All hands on deck! ALE for them ALL!" Casella looked up to the girl as a few waiters took off to work. "You can pay for this shit girl?" He asked.
The man looked up to Innes and frowned. "As are yours, little bastard."
Innes dropped his jaw slightly. "How the hell did you...?" He removed his glasses, completely confused at the man's intellect.

Well, that was certainly an interesting ability -- what a sneaky little boy. But his radius was small, fortunately, letting her get this close. She stepped out from the shadows and casually brushed past the lanky messenger, "I suppose I am."
This would be a long and tedious night. "But, I guess everyone wants a piece of messenger Din," she turned to face him, her eyes like watered steel, "otherwise, why run for your life?" Or perhaps it was just his paranoia, she thought, after all, an ability such as that could get irritating.
She grinned something that flickered between the dangerous sort and the completely innocent sort. "But since, I worked so hard to track you down and finally caught up to the ever-elusive Din, at least humor me with an answer." She nodded towards the letter in his hand. "Why so sad?"

Vylira could only smirk at the resounding acceptance of her round. She had done a quick head count when she had gotten in (though by her standards a quick head count would be remarkably accurate unless someone had three heads [she accounted for two]) and she was certain she could pay for it all. And then some, and then some more. She was a broker; money was no issue with her. So she just smirked at the bartender. "Just name what color rupees you like seeing best," she cooed, equal parts mischief and seduction, though one or both of those were likely the drug speaking.
"And then some, actually. Maybe a nice golden effigy of the goddess Din herself. Or if you're more of a business mind I have this really nice cooling cabinet. Enchanted wood that consistently cools the air around it inside, guaranteed to keep all beverages or cadavers you put inside nice and fresh. Wait, ale isn't fresh, sorry, nice and cool. Got these neat pills back in Castle Town, they kind of scramble my thoughts sometimes," she rambled off, making a little loopy sign by her head when indicating herself.
"Where was I? Right, extra stuff. Anyway, I'm looking for some information on a person named P. Or was it T?" she trailed off thoughtfully. "N? No, but close. Close to N. O? No, wait, I got it. M. I'm looking for information on a person named M. I deal in information, see, and I know its value, so I can match your price. Cooling unit, golden goddess, your weight in rupees . . . though considering how thick and solid you are I'd say that last one might be the most valuable," she mused again and grinned, her eyes getting distracted by the multicolored bottles behind the bar as she fought to keep her focus on the job at hand.

[ooc: Dark Knight Reference coming up]
Din listened to the female as she spoke, turning around to face her. So far, she did not seem to have ill intentions. Looking down to his letter, he laughed slightly at her question. Sad? Was that what it was? He supposed so, and simply remained standing with the knife hidden in his spare hand. "And you...why so serious?" He stepped forth, smiling down at her. "Your beautiful you know, so tell me what you want, and my price will be a small one."
As the woman rambled, the noise from the people cheering and talking made it hard to listen, but he was catching what she was saying. For the most part, he remained silent, however when she mentioned M, he shook his head in discomfort. "Asking that can get you killed woman." Reaching up, he attempted to grab her wrist and pulled her down so he could lead her to the back room. "Come with me, now!" His voice was deep, and yet silent enough so that only she would hear.
Innes stared at the old man, thinking back to the Royal Guard, and trying to remember if anyone had left recently other than Rawht. He couldn't recall anyone, and as the new Royal Guard, he had to take care of this situation, obviously. "Look, help your kin out. I'm searching for-"
"M. I know." He stood at the counter, both hands folded across his chest. "Return to me tomorrow morning at Noon, and I'll give you what you want." The man had a look of discomfort on his face, obviously angered at the fact that Innes was here searching for whoever this "M" was. "I've had enough of that girl's plans. Now leave."
Innes did not hesitate, but left, and headed back to the apartment.

Oh? A game to seduce information? "Mm, and you're not to shabby yourself." How dare he insult a Knight's honor. A twitch upon her brow a cruel curl of lips dawned upon her visage as mythril broke earth a little too close to the messenger. Claymore drawn, a baiter perhaps, as she smiled sweetly. "I suppose I could offer you something in return for a little information on M."
Stone clattered around Claymore as she unsheathed it from the ground with ease, tucking it next to her in one graceful motion. "Let's begin business, shall we?"

"Get me killed women?" Vylira repeated with a bit of surprise, blinking as if the words were floating in front of her. "Never considered that sort of business. Corpses usually belong to crime scenes, and to interfere with those would draw unwanted attention to myself. Oh, wait, you meant it would get me killed, woman. As in me. I'm the woman. Right, well don't worry about that, I'm astounding hard to kill," she smirked proudly. Keaton were notorious beings, impossible to capture and, in the same way, very hard to kill and always, always very cunning. Even when hopped up on whatever kind of drugs Vylira played with.
Then the strong hand clasped around her tiny wrist. She looked down at it and for a split second her eyes held remarkable clarity, as if she could just ignore all the effects of the drug. But there was no harm and she looked back up with a grin. "A bit forward, aren't you? Is this about the weight comment? Because I meant that in a good way. Hefty, strong, muscle weighs more than fat. I mean look at you, you must be able to carry a keg under each arm and then some!" she rambled on as the man dragged her down into the back room.
As soon as the door closed behind them and there was privacy her tone changed again. Pupils still diluted, she merely leaned back against the wall and looked up at the large man with all the helplessness of a cornered fox. "So you're either going to kill me or you're going to share what you know on G. I mean M. Anyway, I can make the latter worth your while and the former's merely a waste of time, so let's get on with it. What can you tell me on Q?" she asked with a sly smile as she crossed her arms under her chest.

Din simply looked at her claymore, observing the motions of her body and stance. He disliked her positioning, but he couldn't really do anything about it. She wanted business though, and business would be good. "M huh? Alright. I've got some information." He paused, thinking to the letter he had opened when he should not have. "Take this over there to that ship and give the letter to White Bear." Smiling, he reached in his pocket, drew a small cigarette, and began to smoke, holding the letter out for her to take.
"Shut up will you?" He asked, pulling her into the back room. She continued on however, and once the door was closed and she finally stopped, he took a few steps back from her and approached a dresser on the opposite side of the room.
"Tell me. What do you...know of this M?"
He asked, going through the cabinets, seemingly looking for something.

Vanessa took the message with a curt nod, and after turning around, tossed him a sack of rupees, "Payment as promised. It was a pleasure doing business with you." Insurance so that he wouldn't leap upon her back with a pair of knives.
It was really quite tedious, too many middlemen, but -- she supposed -- it was how pirates worked; chains and links of information, break one link and another will take its place. Claymore returned safely to her holster, she reached the dock and approached a figure, "I'm here for White Bear. A message a presume?"

Vylira watched as the man hissed at her again. Briefly she wondered if this person known as M had some way of watching just like she did. Perhaps he would make a valuable asset if that were the case. Though she would have to reform him from his assassinating ways. Those tended to alienate a customer base. Working with a man who was planning to assassinate the Princess, for example, would lead to the Royal Guard, the Knights, the . . . whatever the human for was called, and the Princess herself from ever conducting business again. And that was a very large chunk of her demand.
So maybe trying to cut a deal was a bad idea.
She watched as the man started to root through a drawer, looking for something. She raised an eyebrow and wondered if she should drop her filters and check the contents of the drawer. He could very well be searching for a knife, after all. Instead she opted merely to hold onto that extraterrestrial sense to prevent him from catching her by surprise and plan an escape route. Her hands clasped behind her back and summoned up the smallest orb of Fox-Fire she could manage and, while the man's back was turned, she sent the little orb to the door, to hide underneath and out of sight. Just in case.
"You say asking about him could get me killed, I certainly hope that doesn't mean you're the one to do the killing," she said with a feigned sheepish smirk. "Two of us down here alone, where no one will bother us until the next shift comes along, why, I'd say that's perfect killing ground. Or . . . other stuff. If you turn around and you're holding something long and thin I'm not really sure how I'll react," she said, half of it being her own musings on the situation rather than talking to the guy.
"So far the most I know about H is that asking about him--or is it a her?--will get me killed. So if you could shed any sort of light on that, feel free. Not the killing part, I know about that already. Assassins can be a bit dodgy and whatnot. Of course this is only a formality, you realize, and you have no bargaining edge here, so I'd just take the rupees and tell me what you know. If I wanted to I could do it for free, but hey, I'll just bill my employer for the loss. Y'know? So anyway, money for information, that's how I work, so let's keep the killing to a minimum and see what kind of deal can be made."
